agreed on flu shots. evidence is showing the whooping cough (pertussis) vaccine to lose efficacy after 5 to 10 years. pharmas are trying to develop a booster for that now. some tropical illness vaccines are supposedly only good for a few years.

meow.
-
would you understand me better if i just meowed?
-
one thing i've discovered about you rob is that you have a heck of a knack for non-sequiter babbling. it's cute, really! in a kitten way.
-
heh, it was you who claimed to have found the "answers", remember? through your extensive research. kook.

here's some more stuff: According to the National Immunization Survey, conducted last summer with responses from 7,000 Americans, the flu shot is the only recommended adult vaccine that most Americans could name. Only 3% to 18% could name each of the others, which include pneumococcal disease; hepatitis A; hepatits B; tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis; meningococcal disease; and shingles. Less than 10% of respondents remembered that hepatitis vaccines were recommended, and less than 5% mentioned the new shingles vaccine. adult vaccine schedule, non-snarky reply

you are pro-vaccine, and you don't know? Ask erock. I'm guessing your ignorance is typical.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: HAVE YOU ALL HAD YOUR BOOSTER SHOTS IN THE LAST 5 YEARS? IF NOT, PLEASE REPORT TO YOUR NEAREST VACCINATION FACILITY FOR IMMUNIZATION

I don't practice corporal punishment. i'm glad to hear that. i thought from your tone in an earlier post this wasn't the case. and i was told online posting was the best way for avoiding misunderstandings. sheesh.
-
oh come on man. i heard noam chomsky on npr once. about 5 years ago. at 11 pm. for 10 minutes.
-
that was just a phone fat-finger. Are you on your period? sexist.
-
rob, give a few examples where you would consider the administration of corporal punishment on a child of let's say 2.
-
but he did call me kimmi, and i'm not sure he loves me.
-
oh come on, i love robbi!

If you do not impose your will on them, there is no need to "discipline" them. IMO. most people only understand the idea of breeding good little monkeys, through the imposition of their will. we are a very authoritarian country. we don't need a dictator, when we have ourselves!
-
WTF is up with the "robbi dear" shit? This is at least the 2nd time today... what's wrong with my term of endearment, KaskadskyjKozaki dear?
-
no shizzle. and not just pertussis. i think erock is on his way now.
-
quite a leap there to advocating corporal punishment for children, robbi dear.
-
at least you have come around to realizing that the circumstances of death matter. you know, from Truth's point of view and all. also, i assume you are personally all caught up on all the vaccines available? you know that the efficacy of many (most?) vaccines diminish over time.... please go get your boosters immediately. no, really.
-
but you said you had RESEARCHED it! save a brother some time, yo. plus, you said you were interested in the "TRUTH"! wrong. dude, i wasn't questioning your credentials, just curious about what interests you academically. sheesh. what's so funny 'bout peace love and understanding.

Point being I seriously doubt you have anywhere the expertise of a doctor or the particular doctors who found Mr. Quack was unfit due to fraud, but you offer your opinion as if it is equal to their expertise. So what do you think your "research" really amounts to? Birther, 9/11, what? i'm not quite sure how my quote above fits in with your assertions, but i do admire your faith in authority figures: "I don't care what the facts are; they dun figgered it out for me, and they're Doctors!"
-
you keep saying children died due to complications, but you haven't said anything about how many, and what were the circumstances. and yes, circumstances matter. a child is dying of cancer, and contracts measles. ummm, which one killed him? or has a congenital heart disorder etc etc. wrong. you evidently do not know a thing about "yoga". although i do envy the comforts of your rational life (well, sometimes). rockwellian, really. btw, since you brought it up, what is your "advanced degree" in?
-
of course not. and i didn't say "middle". my dichotomy was based on the two (extreme) polarized positions that i used in my simpleton's argument, nothing more. and yes, without a doubt, between those two positions, the "truth" DOES lie somewhere in between, robbi my dear.
