Why doesn't Gary just write some computer program algorithm that can tell us what the best photo is, so we don't even have to have human judges anymore.
We just pulled the hangers off the upper pitches because we didn't have time to yank ALL those bolts out. Its a lot of fucking work.
But we've got plans to go back and take the studs out too. The first few pitches are EASILY climbed on gear, so it won't be a problem to go back and get 'em.
I bought these about a half-size too small (I wear 11 1/2 street shoe size)and they don't stretch. Climbed in 'em maybe five or six times. Retail is $134.00. They are great, high performance, all-around boots if sized right.
Kevbone: A couple of my buddies and I chopped the first five pitches of this atrocity of a route a few weeks ago and removed the hangers from the rest of it. Try to go climb it now. Ha!
Shit Gary, not everything can be determined by some mathematical formula. Enjoyment of pictures and art and shit indeed has some sort of a non-formulaic subjective component to it.
In the spirit of full openness, I would like to disclose that all my shots were taken in my living room and backyard and then photoshopped to add mountain-like features.
