  1. My guess is that its still seeping in there.
  2. I didn't know they had climbing in prison.
  3. Do they speak english where you live?
  4. climbing in Spain looks like it really doesn't suck.
  5. The first time I did this climb, 4 or 5 years ago, a few bolts had recently been chopped. The state of the climb then, with a bolt protecting the crux (though placed a little lower down than bolts on most modern sport routes) and some bolts after the crux where its mostly face climbing, seemed like a good compromise. Regardless, just had three super nice days cragging at old Index. Good times!
  6. I'm not planning on chopping it. Not worth the time. I also wouldn't say that its much of a bolted crack, just that I'm not much of a good climber and I've led it multiple times with only that one bolt down low. The "new" bolts seem unnecessary and take away from some of the spice of the route. But that seems to be what the kids want these days.
  7. Since when has this pitch been unnecessarily re-retrobolted?
  8. Nice! Finally got it in good condition. Word. That second to last pic, by the way, is dope.
  9. Frequent good frozen turf sticks. Some ice on the first pitch.
  10. Sorry to hijack your TR Marcus. But here's some pic's of Rolf on the crux and the NYG crux and of topping out.
  11. Rolf and I climbed this route today. Pretty fun considering the approach starts only 45 min. from Seattle. Didn't seem like it was quite m6. But what the fuck do I know, I'm not much of an M-climber.
  12. The Atomic Kailas and the Karhu Jak are pretty much rad for everything unless you're really into skiing groomers or bumps.
  13. If you bivied up near the north basin of Stuart you're out of the permit zone and wouldn't need a permit.
  14. For shizzle. Got to be the best summer cragging area in the country. Just bring your own beer.
  15. Tulalip Casino. You can car-bivy nextdoor at Wal-Mart and gamble all day long!
  16. Thanks Jon and Timmy for putting this shizzle together.
  17. Vantage, with maybe a quick sidetrip to X 38.
  18. I'd rather see people toprope than either unecessarily bolt or try and lead something they shouldn't be leading.
  19. Easy enough for the white and educated to say. However, the reality is that the uneducated, elderly, and the immigrants are probably the ones fraudulently misled into signing loans they can't afford. You may be educated and savvy enought to be skeptical of the misleading and outright false claims lenders are making, many people are not. Would you be as disparaging if your grandmother had signed a loan that a lender had promised her would only cost her $500 / month to pay, while in fact the ten pages of legalese in her contract that she couldn't comprehend actually ended up requiring her to pay $1000 / month?
  20. I'm suprised the doctor removed all the skin instead of reattaching it.
