I think one of the more common mis tied knots is the clove hitch, how its oriented wrt to the spine of the biner can play an important role. I believe backing this knot up is an important part of your belay. I would do this with a PAS or a daisy. You can have a dynamic belay wether you use a sling or rope it doesnt matter.

Thats weird, everyone I have bought is a full strength sling desined for everything you just said it cant do..

A weather report would be one where I could find out what the temp/precip...has been like or is right now. A forecast is a just that a forecast... Unfortunatley none of those links provide current or past weather reports like this one for the top of Whistler... Peak Maybe its just my terminolgy...
