Separation of Church and state: The original intent was to KEEP THE STATE OUT OF THE CHURCH... (think about Calvinists/Protestants fleeing religious persecution in Europe) The original intend was not to keep morals and ethical action out of the State... what a ridiculous concept! SO many modern americans are SO backwards in their thinking on this issue.

It is the middle of five routes on We Did Rock. It used to appear as 5.8 in an earlier guidebook, but somehow got upgraded. The other four routes are definitely harder, especially Blockhead on the far right, which I would give a 5.9+ or a 5.10a- if such a thing existed. Oh! I mixed up absolutely nothing with Blockhead... yeah - Blockhead is a solid 5.9 (for one sequence of moves) Absolutely nothing is like 5.8 (at the most).

I lead Classic Crack the two weeks ago, then I went up to to exit 38 and did some 10a sport climbing. Man, Classic Crack was harder ... so clearly Trad is WAAAAY harder than sport.

Alright you vulgarians, let me spell it out for ya: Minx is trying to teach her kid that there are times to swear and times to not swear, and then she's swearing in front of her kid (a time to not swear)... and then she's swearing in front of a church group (another time to not swear). Is this referring to clipping two loops next to each other? Or any two loops on the chain? I in my newbieness am not seeing how any two loops would be a bad thing... This is similar to the reason you put a twist in a sling when making a multi-directional anchor... If something breaks/tears, then the biner comes out of the system.

Actually, most get 15mpg. So that's 80 gallons of gas ... $240. And you can fit 4 people with gear in one of those rigs... so you're down to $60 a person. That's totally affordable to all but the poorest of dirtbags. (not to mention that gas prices will not be $3 a gallon this summer you alarmist jackass.)

Boulder hard stuff with the best pad people... Make sure they call you a little beee-otch if you jump off a route before you fall off. You will get better FAST. Climb routes with folks that push you... If you go towards the 5.10c, and you've been doing 10's for the last 3 weeks, then your partner should just say, "no, get on that 11b over there"
