yeah Kurt, obviously there is a need for some "values" over there.

    summer job?

I wonder why Insurance companies aren't the ones who confer the medical degree? According to your statement, they are the ones with the power. Or maybe it's the lawyer or the judge? I dunno. But it seems to me that if other MD/Professors aren't willing to call a chiropractor a doctor, then neither am I. That said, I went to a chiropractor for two years to help my hip that had bothered me for almost six years. It worked, I've never been seriously bothered by it again, and that was eight years ago.... And good luck to the folks looking for summer internships. If you want my chiropractor's name and you feel like living in Idaho for a summer, PM me.

    Housing Bubble?

I agree with all but the last. LOC's can be a very powerful cash tool that allow you to leverage your money effectively. They allow you liquidity and flexibility--just be sure to chose the right one.

    Housing Bubble?

Your home loan is not based on the rate of the housing market, it is based on your income. Therefore, regardless of what the market does, you have the same payment and same job (unless you build houses that you always had.

    Housing Bubble?

  15. Have you seen the people working carnivals? Are they going to read, memorize, and enforce "regulations"? I'd rather OD on cotton candy than entrust my life to those flunkies. Suddenly, free soloing doesn't seem so dangerous...
  16. This brings up your earlier discussion about genetics vs. choice. For some folks who didn't fare well in the genetic lottery, their inherited predisposition toward addiction makes some behaviors less of a choice. But should drugs or alcohol be outlawed just becuase some people get addicted? Tough choice.
  17. Only stumbled a bit, but it was onto a bashie I stuck in a crappy little teeny-weeny,empty-sounding, when-I-grow-up-I'm-gonna-be-a flake. I was ready to die.
  18. Oh lighten up. But go on with the lubricious part...
  19. If I may posit a slightly different take on this (and I'm bored with the 'hate ourselves, we are sooo bad bulls++t'): Detachment is the opposite of love, not hate. A powerful emotion like love may binds two people together, but another powerful emotion like hate will cement them forever. Those who whine about hating America love the ability and freedom to do so. Chances are, they will be here for quite a while. If they really didn't like it here, they would simply detach themselves and leave. Sans emotion. I have a slow day at work and plan on writing a bunch of worthless drivel today, so gird up your loins and be ready (or hit the ignore this user button and save yourself the headache).
  20. Ken, you just became my hero.
  21. So right. Much easier when they are shooting into you.
  22. Uh, ya. It was my very lame attempt at psuedo-humor. I am much more funny looking than funny reading. I'm no meteorologist, but that does seem to work. I do appreciate you posting your TR--it is helpful. I am looking forward to this weekend, and I am greatful that I can avoid the crummy stuff you mentioned. Thanx.
  23. Be careful, only share your china within safe sects.
  24. It sure gives one more reason why prostitution will never be stopped
