The first time I walked off that I was chased by a goat. I actually jumped down the slabby rock (before the boulder and the tree--the goat was there and started charging me) into that little gully and then slid down the steep ravine thing on my ass and elbows. So you can actually get down really fast--even in climbing shoes. You end up with a lot of gravel and blood loss though... Be sure to start early so you are the first one on the climb! Have fun!!!!

That would, of course, depend on how the company had been set up. If it was an LLC, LLP, or C corp, they gov't could not go after personal assets.

Agreed. But remember that the longer one doesn't pay, the larger the amount owed becomes. And the larger the penalties. And the IRS does charge interest on amount and penalties owed. It used to be 12%, but it has probably gone up from there. They are happy to seize your assets if your income doesn't cover your debt. It is a risky game to play.

This is changing. The IRS just hired a lot of new people two years ago and are ramped up to audit like crazy. I believe their new numbers show that 1 in 7 will be audited.

WTF...I dont want to pay for Bushes war. They don't care what your political beliefs are. At least file even if you don't pay. They will get the tax from you and less pentalties if you at least file.
