Climbed Sunset Ridge on Rainier with some other CC.com'ers. We had a blast (as in we got blasted by high winds on Liberty Cap ).

I was driving by a church in Mt Vernon, WA and on their billboard some one had put up "Thank God for Global Warming". This is to date by far the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Although the Calvin pissing on things stickers are really, really dumb too.

See if there is a school in town with a stadium. I switch between taking the bleachers and doing every step on the stairs. Wear a backpack with weights in it a some one is sure to ask "what's wrong with you?"

I bought the I Designs MK2 XL w/ vestibule and have taken it on a few trips so far. It's really nice. The seams were taped when I got it (I've heard that bibler doesn't do this any more but that is unverified). I like the fact that there are two doors and that the mesh is on the outside of the door. I'm 6'-0" and I can fully stretch out with a little room to spare. 6-3 might be pushing it though. Good luck w/ whatever you deside to go with.

I've been trying feverishly to find a link, to no avail, but a few years ago a truck driver freaked out in traffic on the 101 in San Jose and busted through the gate and onto the runway at the San Jose Airport. He proceeded to do laps up and down the runway for about 20 minutes when he jack-knifed the truck, flipped it on it's side, got out, stripped naked and was finally arrested while trying to set his truck on fire. My hero.

Cool, let's equip all students and teachers with guns, we could even have shooting classes for kids. It'll be great and everyone will be _safe_. I've never. But I really, really try to avoid living/ working in cities of over pop. 100,000. I think that it's pretty _gnarly_ that you feel the need to pack heat when you live your daily life.

Any one who has a drivers license has been duly educated regarding how to safely operate a vehicle.
