  1. I know. That's why I made the joke. Cube farming.
  2. What do you mean? You guys get stock options... Oh... wait... nevermind.
  3. Isn't it true some don't have this stamp... especially the older ones?
  4. It appears bums have called this place home in the past and it does have some rocky butte feel. I stoked that we will stay dry and the routes (when done) are hella long. Endurance! Mac scored some hay bails for our routes at rocky so that should combat the mud
  5. Bolts! Those routes can't be lead with trad gear? Post some pics! I wanna see some gnar!
  6. was ultralightinsulation Sweet avatar d00d! He beat Chuck Norris (who is #10001) to the punch (or is it roundhouse kick?)...

    Boom!

Maybe this will redirect some of the pacific storms that keep rolling in
  8. 12 clip on. Grivel, BD, Petzl, Trango (who am I forgetting?). Steel.
  9. Werd up. He was belaying one of the harder leads at the time so he had to sit there and try to clean up with one hand all while not bugging the leader. Just think if that turd made it to the floor... would have killed at least 3 tourists and who knows how many cameras.
  10. Enchantment conditions update thread Ross might have went in there last weekend... no update from him though. Update this thread every time you go their... what you find, etc etc so we can keep all the info in one spot and not all over the place. Are you thinking about climbing triple couloirs? Or for that matter anything at all?
  11. How much does vestibule add? Also compare sq footage... I think the EV2 is closer to a I tent footprint... not the I tent. With that said I believe the MK1 has the smallest footprint.
  12. A friend of mine had a gallon zip lock bag full of shit dropped by a team above him land and explode next to him on a belay ledge on the captain. He didn't top out for another 2 days either.
  13. This isn't the CCH thread d00d Who climbs in just the PNW? Even if you did I believe the eldo is lighter then the Mtn Hardwear one (I should check this...).
  14. Shock cord more likely to freeze overnight and then snap/break while disassembling the next morning. IMO internal poles make for a faster setup but I guess that is personal experience...
  15. check your pms
  16. I figured it out after my first cup of coffee. Gotta remember no more posting before stumptown!
  17. Well no wonder the bulk of M climbers in WA suck. They all believe that rumor or are too busy going to pub club Mac and I discussed it and last night was the wettest night either of us could recall... there was a partial waterfall flowing through the tree route route... the ropes must have weighed 20 lbs when we hiked out... ahh the madness. I will say hopefully in a few weeks I should have enough routes manufactured at the secret drytool location that just so happens to be under a bridge so then no one can use the "it's raining" excuse. Think 200' to 300' routes!!!
  18. And Dave: if you are looking to match up on the tool but spend the majority of your time on the lower hand rest consider just adding a few wraps of hockey tape... I got a roll at play it again sports in town for my monsters and that stuff stays sticky even in the pouring rain. It keeps your tools protected too nicks and cuts...
  19. Do you have a link to the photo? I can't say with out seeing the photo but I am willing to be he has the grivel horn: The alp wing now comes stock with it...
  20. It has external poles... right?
  21. I can pick it up Thursday AM if it is still available. John 503.758.5772
  22. Which portaledge? I believe the eldo is too long to fit completely on all ledges on the market. I have a custom BD I tent that they made specifically to fit the BD double skylounge (floor zippers, reinforcements, tie in point, etc etc) and it barely fits on the ledge. As far as the two tents go I have spent most of my time in Bibler tents... no complaints... any problems I have had with the tents I have owned BD has fixed promptly for free. With that said both models seemed comparable. I know at least two other threads exist that cover the same topic... consider searching the gear critic forum.
  23. No beer plans tonight... have your friend come to the madrone thing for sure. I am doing a thursday session if I get enought interest (that means if you are reading this and interested you need to let me know). If not this week maybe next week? Hmmm... Bring yer snorkle! And maybe a trash bag!
  24. That's sick and wrong! No... a tea bagging (perhaps jon's avatar?) would be sick and wrong animation file anyone?
