Well, not to pat my own back, but during the days of wool I turned away just 20 feet from the summit of K2 because I got a bad feeling in my gut. Its a thing that experienced climbers who can hold their own feel. If you haven't felt it, you probably shouldn't be climbing without a guide like me. Anyway, just as I turned away a big storm blew in. If I hadn't turned back, I would not be here posting today. I'm just posting this to educate you.
