  1. This link gives a whole new meaning to "tape is aid."
  2. With the epic center in Gig Harbor, I think Dru is full of shit. I hope Dru is full of shit. Dru better be full of shit. Can you post a pic?
  3. Good link.
  4. Bourne Supremacy, The Theory of Everything, Little Ice Age, The Cassandra Compact and White Shark plus some horribly bad book that I've forgotten the name of already. Last month I spent reading the entire works of Desmond Bagley, just old times sake.
  5. It's been said that the likeliness of a secret getting out gets multiplied by a factor of two with every person. Imagine the number of people involved in dumping even half of the WMDs that Bush said are there. Furthermore, the area would never be too hot, because I'm sure that if they did find WMD then they would 1)provide PLENTY of troups to guard it, and 2) be anxious to prove it wasn't a lie by allowing the UN to inspect it. Have you asked yourselves how long you're going to give the US to find those WMD before you too will call it a lie? Don't get me wrong, we KNOW they used to be there, but perhaps, just perhaps, the Iraqis didn't keep good records when they destroyed the WMD. Still, US said it had proof of existing WMD before it went in. Some of you say the Iraqis moved them, well what the hell are all those spy satelites good for then, if they can't even track a fraction of all the stuff GW said was there?
  6. I have an honest question for all of you. Can one suppport the US troops, without supporting the war? If so, how?
  7. In case you were'nt aware of it, Nazi is short for National Socailst. I sincerely doubt Ascroft can be called that, Consider this: WE DEMAND THAT THE GOVERNMENT UNDERTAKE THE OBLIGATION ABOVE ALL OF PROVIDING CITIZENS WITH ADEQUATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMPLOYMENT AND EARNING A LIVING. THE ACTIVITIES OF THE INDIVIDUAL MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO CLASH WITH THE INTERESTS OF THE COMMUNITY, BUT MUST TAKE PLACE WITHIN ITS CONFINES AND BE FOR THE GOOD OF ALL ... WE DEMAND THE NATIONALIZATION OF ALL BUSINESSES WHICH HAVE BEEN AMALGAMATED (INTO TRUSTS). WE DEMAND THAT THE STATE SHALL SHARE IN THE PFOFITS OF LARGE INDUSTRIES. WE DEMAND THAT PROVISION FOR THE AGED SHALL BE MADE ON A VERY GREATLY INCREASED SCALE. WE DEMAND A LAND-REFORM SUITABLE TO OUR NATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, THE PASSING OF A LAW FOR THE CONFISCATION OF LAND FOR COMMUNAL PURPOSES; THE ABOLITION OF INTEREST ON MORTGAGES, AND PROHIBITION OF ALL SPECULATION IN LAND. WE DEMAND AN AGRARIAN REFORM SUITABLE TO OUR NATIONAL REQUIREMENTS; THE ENACTMENT OF A LAW TO EXPROPRIATE WITHOUT COMPENSATION THE OWNERS OF ANY LAND THAT MAY BE NEEDED FOR NATIONAL PURPOSES; THE ABOLITION OF GROUND RENTS; AND THE PROHIBITION OF ALL SPECULATION IN LAND. ...THE STATE SHALL ORGANIZE THOROUGHLY THE WHOLE CULTURAL SYSTEM OF THE NATION . . . THE CONCEPTION OF THE STATE IDEA (THE SCIENCE OF CITIZENSHIP) SHALL BE TAUGHT IN THE SCHOOLS FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. WE DEMAND THAT SPECIALLY TALENTED CHILDREN OF POOR PARENTS, NO MATTER WHAT THEIR STATION OR OCCUPATION, SHALL BE EDUCATED AT THE COST OF THE STATE. IT IS THE DUTY OF THE STATE TO HELP RAISE THE STANDARD OF THE NATION'S HEALTH BY PROVIDING MATERNITY WELFARE CENTRES, BY PROHIBITING JUVENILE LABOUR, BY INCREASING PHYSICAL FITNESS THROUGH THE INTRODUCTION OF COMPULSORY GAMES AND GYMNASTICS. . . . (WE) COMBAT THE MATERIALISTIC SPIRIT WITHIN AND OUTSIDE US, AND ARE CONVINCED THAT A PERMANENT RECOVERY OF OUR PEOPLE CAN ONLY PROCEED WITHIN ON THE FOUNDATION OF "THE COMMON GOOD BEFORE THE INDIVIDUAL GOOD." -- From the "Twenty-Five Point" Programme of the German National Socialist Workers Party, authored by Adolf Hitler and others on February 24, 1920. (Konrad Heiden's translation in A Hisotry of National Socialism) Maybe it's just too late in the day, and I'm startingt to take things too literally. Don't get me wrong though, I thoroughly hate the jerk.
  8. Pretty good stuff from chickenhead.com eh?
  9. says Bush=Da Man
  10. If it wasn't for the source, I'd say this link is a fabrication. I mean " if those baby-killing Democrats have their way, we'll all be laying off our colored servants and picking up feather dusters ourselves ", WTFdude.
  11. trask should i post 1 of your odd 7000 or so negative posts? I find it odd that as I'm mellowing and becoming more desirable with age, many of you are becoming hotheaded and hostile. I suggest you take vacations and perhaps try yoga to curb these hostilities and negative vibes. You especially Erik, seem to be out of control lately. For you, a few days at my sheep ranch might be just what the doctor ordered. Think about it friends, you all need to calm down. Uh, Trask? Is that REALLY you? Am I the only one who thinks Trask was taken over by aliens? I know I haven't belonged to this bulletin that long, but you just did a 180. Nuttin' wrong with that though. Just don't think that there's a spaceship behind a comet waiting to pick you up because you're wearing special sneakers.
  12. Where's you're garbage stored? If it's outside, one might have thought that a bear would have gone for that too. I'm by no means a bear expert, but I do know that you are NEVER to try to get away from one by climbing a tree because they're natural at it. If you have neighbours, wouldn't they have experienced something like this too, and have their own thoughts? IF it is a bear, then what I've dug up suggests that they claw trees to mark their territory. Do you call Fish and Wildlife on something like this?
  13. Did a search on Google for "clawed trees" and the results were :bear, bear, bear.
  14. Personally, Tasks comments have tought me many many wonderful words, and compilations thereof. Of course I think he's a pathetic sack of shit (see, I've already caught onto Taskism, though only as a beginner) and I think I've disagreed with everything he's said. But what do you expect? This is America! Go Trask Go. Thank you for the kind words dude - it means a lot to me, really Trask, I don't think we'll ever agree on much, but this world would be sad indeed if everybody shared the same views on everything. Sure you use foul language, but it's often just the thing needed to shake people up enough so that they provide examples to support their arguments. Right back atcha bro.

  16. According to the main founder of al-Qaeda, they want an end to the freedom that the people in the US have. Period.
  17. Speaking of the Grand Wall, how many hours (including waiting for slower parties to finish before you etc) has it taken you folks to climb to :1) to Bellygood, 2) to the top via Roman Pillars? Also, if you did the Roman Pillars finish, which route did you take?
  18. I always figured it as center of OR, but whatever. You may be right about the climbing, but I certainly agree with you on bolting. Like I've said, when I went there I saw a tri-cam stuck in on of the cracks, so someone HAS climbed there. However, that tells us nothing about wether it's permited today. I suggest calling around before you touch it, for as Klenke points out, it is a State Monument; I just checked.
  19. Fort Rock is basically in the center of Oregon. I only mentioned it because it was the southernmost place in Oregon I know of where someone has climbed. Here is a panoramic shot of it, and here is its location. I have not been able to find any beta on it on the net, but that says very little.
  20. I know a special ed teacher and she says that most special ed teachers laugh inside at the things that go on in the classroom, otherwise they'd go nuts. Now I have a glimpse at what her day is like. I don't think I'll ever complain about my job ever again.
  21. I've always wanted to check out Fort Rock. I drove by there before I climbed and remember seeing a tri-cam stuck in a crack. Didn't know what it was back then though, but it looked very climbable. Probably no sport climbs.
  22. Yeah, WTF is up with that?
  23. why the hell would you believe FOTH on this when it was written by a bunch of fat old men who go climbing twice a year and get a hard on for drawings of dulfersitz rappels Didn't say I believed FOTH, just mentioning its interpretation, that's all.
  24. I have never found this to be true. perhaps my skin is weaker than most or something but once i had my nails a bit too long and I was out climbing faces, pulled the nail from the quick and just ended up bloody and not wanting to climb too hard for the next week. Speaking of wich I was falling out of a thinner finger crack on tuesday, and ripped the cutical off my index finger YOUCH!!! but that didn't slow mw down so much. I ended up top roping that one clean on my next turn (finaly) Speaking of ripped cuticals, has anyone here personally tried using Super Glue on them, and does it work?
  25. If my memory serves me right, the Freedom of the Hill refers to weekend warriors as someone who climbs up to 5.10 because they only have time to climb on weekends. I could look this up, but am at work right now. Personally, I think that anyone who climbs well, and by that I mean they're not flailing all over the place, deserves to be called a climber. Any ideas on what to call the rest? Ya'll ha' fun this wick-end, ya heah?
