Iain's comment about Ed Viesturs just got me thinking... It always really impresses me when someone takes a sport that they enjoy and makes a living doing it. That says to me that they are really passionate about it. Personally, I have found that if I want to continue to enjoy a sport, I need to separate my work and play.(That topic could almost use its own thread... but I'm sure its been discussed before!) But as far as this little chica goes... she doesn't really even need to be making a living at 15. Actually, more like she's making a living for nike and oakley CEOs. I always feel bad for these kid superstars. Do you wonder if they ever just want to mix in with the crowd? I'm sure this was her choice, so more power to her. But I'll be suprised if we're still hearing about her in another 5 years...

You know, in a way, it is nice to hear everyone diss some amazingly beautiful superstar (that's what she is, whether you like it or not)... makes us real girls(well, me at least) feel like not everyone has been sucked in by the media. But at the same time, I feel bad for her. I mean, like Erik said, she's just trying to make a living doing what she knows best. And whos to say she isn't honestly an intelligent person? How would you feel if someone stereotyped you as much as people do to her? Personally I am unimpressed by her looks, music and image... And you're right Muffy, maybe she isn't the most intelligent person around... That's the impression I get. But maybe she just hasn't been challenged? Who knows?! Try not to limit people to what you think you know they are like. Even if it is Britney Spears. Cuz you just never know... Edit:

I am trying to post some pics of the beautiful fall colors! But when I scan them and then save them to my computer, the file size is huge so I have to crop it completely in order to upload it to the gallery... Would someone who is more knowledgeable with computers please explain to me how to make them a smaller file size and thus circumvent this problem??!!
