Nice! I did Snowking back over Labor Day as a two-day climb (the lakes are one of the best campsites I've had yet), and enjoyed it thoroughly. That was during the fires, so the views to east (and thus the peaks the Ptarmigan Traverse) were few and far between. Here's to skipping work to climb!

Assuming that the different sizes of hexes have yet to be mixed together, that wouldn't be hard. Also, don't they already have to drill the holes in the hexes for the wires?

Design of Automatic Machinery was one of my favorite classes. I'd jump at the opportunity to design robots. (mind you, that doesn't mean I know anything about them right now...)
