All morning all I've been doing is looking at all my climbing gear and listening to loud ass classical records!!! I can't stop listening to Rachmaninoff and Dvorak. I seriously feel like I could take over the world, careful beyotches!

  12. I don't think you're going to to hit terminal velocity on a 100 ft fall. If your entire body is spread out and you're falling parallel to the ground your TV is approx 128mph. If you are in a pencil position fallinf perpendicular I think it is around 231mph. I remember those numbers from 3 years ago when I did a paper on it. I believe you need a couple hundred feet to reach TV but I could be mistaken, it's been awhile since I read anything about it.

  16. Class 3: Scrambling where your hands are only going to come into contact with rock a few times and you're never really going to need to crank more than a few moves in a row. Class 4: Continuous scrambling using your hands on almost every move where roping up might be necessary but pro is not really needed. Basically you need to use your hands, but its either low angle enough or huge enough holds that it is not quite 5th class. I've never heard of exposure playing into it. Just exposed 3rd or 4th, but never moving it up to 4th because it is exposed. my pennies

Good thinkin' minx! Your kid is no monster, but it would seem that his vote coule be bought out by toys... Being a part of this young generation I did see younger kids having sex, but that is their choice. I do think parents should talk to their kids about sex, but they shouldn't tell them what to do. They need to show them the consequences and teach them about safe sex, and then let the kids decide. I'm sure most parents on this board would disagree with me, but hey I'm just a kid My father is a doctor so I learned about safe sex, and they never told me not to have sex. It's a personal thing, and should be left a personal choice
  23. I just got stubai aluminum straps, and they worked well today, first time I used them. I'll let you know next week after rainer. They are a few ounces lighter if you're looking for lightweight. I have trango extremes with toe and heel welts, but the straps are just too light pass up. Plus people say they work very well on almost everything alpine. not WI, but firm snow/glacier ice yes.
  24. sounds good man! You don't happen to have weekdays off do you?
