Went into the Pasayten last year, tring to go up the 8 mile area and parked at the andrews creek campground. Walked the 5 or so miles in on the road only to find that the bridge hadn't been rebuilt yet from the fire in august 2001. We spent the first two days without a trail as the river was so high in June. Since it was all burnt everything turned black and our lungs got covered with ash.
After 5 days we get out and hit up the dairy queen on hwy20 before I-5, we heard little kids asking their moms what was wrong with us. One of the funniest things ever!

Trasks son has the right idea! Almost all new music does blow, and if you are buying cds, make sure and buy live ones, studio albums are losing out.
Check out "Robert Randolph and the Family Band", going to portland on friday night to see them!
Try and find a pair of trango extremes, the 2002 model, not the new trango extreme s. They only weigh 3.5lbs and are awesome. very warm, step in crampons for ice climbing, edging platform. pretty sweet winter boots!

Went to vantage on saturday and actually climbed almost undisturbed on m&m, moonshine, and skinny man. Everyone else was in their down jackets at the breezy base of sunshine. Lower walls at that end=no wind!
Last week having a pub club at zeke's on phinney or someother place where minors could attend was discussed. It's not far from ballard, and I would promise everyone to show up since I think cracked and I are the only ones who would benefit from this. I would greatly appreciate it!
I hear about some new area down at smith that has a few really hard climbs and supposedly no one there, I think it's called the dihedrals, kind of near some place called morning glory???? anyone heard of these!!?
