there is no way I could go up there though and not boulder! those problems are just sooo beautiful..... some poeple get off on 1000ft splitter cracks, for me it happens to be steep pebbles with big moves

also probably the best bouldering in the pacnw!

I have trango extremes, and they rock! I've worn them on 10mi approaches and been happy with them. been on steep snow and they work fine kicking steps. pick em up!

It was really fuckin' hot every single day. Joe's valley is pretty damn awesome and there is an abundance of boulders that have yet to be touched. I only met 6 climbers in 6 days, seems like everybody knows that it is too hot in summer. If you're ever driving through stop by and devote a few hours to the smooth rock. Check out the pics in the gallery
