cletus gettin sum this morning

i got some new skinz yesterday, so I HAD to go up today. there was light dusting of freshies down here in Bend, and this only made my 8=D grow even more. the freshie report said 2" new at the hill, so i grabbed the porno puppies and we were on our way. just skinned up the east side of bachy, veering left of the summit chair that was running this morning. fantastic conditions, little bit o dust over some crust made for some quick skinning. poor chinook just doesn't know how to pace himself, and tries to keep up with the lil bitch sierra, i'd imagine the two of them probably got in about 1k more vertical than i did, but it was fun to see the dogs getting face shots... sierra actually tips her head down mid turn and bites at the snow, she must get that from her dad. seriously though, it was a magical morning. i had been lamenting about where to go on my days off, and its amazing that a quick little 4 hour jaunt, out of bounds at bachelor was such a fantastic time. the turns were excellent, nice lite freshiez, and the best part is hauling ass down and watching the dogs chase after. good times!

so i'm considering making the drive up the 97 to come to the bbq, but would really like to get out and flail a bit. anyone have time off Thurs, Fri, Sat for some touring and hopefully turns. Ideally I would like to go camp out for a night or so, just so i can sleep outside (its been a while) i'm game for anything, helens, adams, tatoosh, muir hut smoke fest pm me if interested.
