Just thought I'd write up a quick little bit on the new website design, and how you can use it to further your cc.com experience. Reading the ContentAll the main pages will have new content that is either pulled directly from the boards, or is penned by fellow cc.com'ers and sent into climb@cascadeclimbers.com. We all are authors of the site, and the freshness of the content depends on your contributions, so keep the tr's coming. commentingEach post in the main section has a comments feature. This allows you to post your response to the report, or review, or post a link to a similar story... whatever you please. Authors of posts can determine if readers can post comments or not. want to be a contributeri have begun pm'ing people to see if they would be willing to contribute some of their classy tr's to be posted in the main section of the site. if you are interested give us an email, and i will setup an account for you. the program allows you to upload images of your trip, imbed HTML tags, and most importantly, share your climbing prowess with the world. gear and book reviewsi know we are all opinionated about this, and we are all true field testers of gear and books. i'm hoping we'll all want to start voicing some of our experiences on the front pages. well... every time the people from TNF post a notice of one of their "talks" they get sprayed to no end. and since they still come back and post on the site, i closed their thread to prevent the spray fest. I figured if somebody still wanted to comment on TNF or its family of sponsored atheletes, they could simply startup a new thread and post away! Looks like you did just what I thought someone else would do texplorer. If you want to reply to the thread i'll open it back up, it really ain't a big deal, just saving the spray for some better subjects, thats all. tim

dru, have you tried refreshing the screen yet? what version of IE are you using?

OKEDOKE-the front page has pretty much most the features it had before. I shrank down yer pictures (send more in if you have them), but you can click on a link to view the full size jobby job. A few more features we are going to try to add to the main page are: -PM Inbox-Quick Links to usefull shite On another note, the new site design will really open up the possibilities for publishing info very quickly. I want all board users to think about possilby writing articles, in depth TR's, gear reviews, whatever. I will be taking some of the better posts from teh board and adding them to the main part of the site, so you can just keep posting here. If you are interested in doing more article/type writing, send us a PM, and we'll get crankin. Keep the pictures coming as well. TIMMY

so i got meself a hefty REI dividend (READ: i had an REI credit card that i spent way to much money with this past year). So now I have this dividend check str8 burnin a hole in my pocket. every time i go online, i get overwhelemed with the possibilites. so i want to get a poll from the crowds to see what they would get, or are going to get with their dividen check. serious inquiries only, no freakin spray about how REI sucks ass cuz we all now it does, but we all still get dividend checks. so what would you get? would would caveman do?
