  1. You have obviously never met the guy. If you do, I suggest you lie about who you are. Oh scott, you are so easily cowed. I'm sure mike has a good sense of humor and if not, then a sense of honor. And if not that then I'll stomp him like a banana slug. And shit down your throat...
  2. Geez. Mike is in his Honeycomb Hideout fighting Sleestack liberals. I kinda picture some little kid with his Daisy Red Ryder in a fort made of sofa cushions and bedsheets hoped up on Kellog's Frosted Flakes on a rainy Saturday morning. You need a time out Mike. You too Greg...
  3. Get a job you punters...
  4. How come self righteous people of any persuation come across as unhappy, midwestern posers and momma's boys?! You guys are really pathetic...
  5. My son is an only child so he is a spoiled brat (not really) but I cannot fairly answer your question from that angle. However, I would not bring your two year old if you can help it. This won't be totally like going to a hotel or bouldering. We may hike aways from the cars and you might want to stay up and hang out with us after the kids go to sleep but the two year old should be out of ear shot or we'll keep him/her up...
  6. you guys were late last time. Same thing...
  7. I pm'd Parker...We'll see. Commit Hohm Commit!!!
  8. I just fired a mini-14 a couple weekends ago and find that to be a great rifle with little recoil. I shot an AR-15 as well and thought it sucked My favorite has been the SKS paratroopers carbine: Inexpensive, servicable and very accurate. I have a case of East German, full metal jacket military rounds dated 1958, 7.62 X 39, and they have quite the penetrating power. The only thing that has stopped them was the front brake rotor from an old pick up truck. After shooting that a few dozen times we found these curious little pins, cylinders actually, that were around the said rotor. We matched them to the circular indentations left in the rotor where our bullets impacted. It seems these are inside of each bullet as a kind of "penetrator". The weird thing was they were not deformed the least bit from their impact with the steel of the rotor! Anyone know anything about this...?
  9. I'd be into it. Contact me next Spring and we'll start looking into it... Goat

  12. I feel like Minx on this one: I am cautious and actually seem to enjoy myself more no matter what the outcome. Snowbyrd: I'm psyched to hook up your ten y/o with my eight y/o and do some climbing with you at Kid's Rope-Up Telemarker: Please describe a more stylish way to gain the ledge off the first pitch of Canary. I cannot picture it Weren't we supposed to go skiing at one point a few years ago? Still interested?! Rudy: I'll bite. Tell us about the Dream.
