  8. I don't seem to have any problems busting out the crux alpine turn on my tele gear, especially in my plastic boots And now that I have monster fat boards I can ride like snowboarders in the blower. My noodle farming Tele Soul is quite intact I've got the best of all worlds And I still have my skinnys on three pins and leathers for the occasional light tour Funny fuckin' film tho Three
  9. I'm heading up to Baker with the boys! The nine y/o's to be exact. Look for a tele snow ninja leading (perhaps following) a gang of prepubescent knuckle-draggers. Hell, I may strap on a tray and join the phun

  13. Bought Rossi T-4's last season. Pretty happy with that investment. I kept my Tua Megas tho I've done three things I swore I'd never do since I moved Here from Colorado: 1) buy plastic tele boots 2) get a truck with power windows 3) buy fat skis never say never...

  20. I do envy your approaches over there Ketch. that is definitely a North Cascades training ground. I look forward to more trips... Let me know when it freezes up. I'll bring my tools and we can work some Scottish Grades!
  21. that is the crux, isn't it.
  22. Nice! A Madrock Quick Draw Thong (tm.) Wherever did you get that?! Just so we don't totally shit on your thread Mike: What is the main consideration besides being right where the other guy may be wrong? Is it the weight or volume of 6mm perlon vs. 5.5mm tech line or 5mm perlon? It seems to me that it would be better to leave your toothbrush behind and go with the 6mm (I don't know shit about the "tech" line). I have read and heard both 6mm or 7mm perlon is the standard, depends on who is spraying. I use 6mm. I do carry a handy 15' lengh of 5mm around wih me for lashing stuff or making prussics, whatever, but I'm not carrying a machete either so I can afford a few ounces
