Actually, I never said anything about their business techniques. And I think you may have missed my point. What I was trying to get across is that it could be worth spending a little extra at the little guy for some items to insure that they are still there when you need them. If the difference is to hard to swallow ask them if they are willing to match prices. Anyway NAPA sux. Lordco rox.

I dunno if they are "anti: drinking municipal water" though, I think they are just making the point that it is not a big a deal as a lot of people think it is. I never treat my water. I drank from a single creek every day for 4 years at my house up in the woods. I have never suffered from anything I attributed to water. One case does not uphold a conclusion though...

Some intersting views on the real risk of contracting Giardia from wilderness water sources can be found here. In summary, not very likely. Any one have info on other waterborne pathogens like Cryptosporydium (sp?)
