They would probably be better off spending the extra money on a f'n personal trainer rather than a plane ticket. They should offer that service on the plane.

Trip Report:
With all the trips going up to Chair Peak and the photos showing that the ice was well formed I decided to make a trip up to check it out for myself. Amazing what a few days will do to an eastern facing slope such as this.

His attempt the prior year on the Rupal followed his successful solo of K-7 only a few weeks before. That would have been a cool linkup.
This will also be a good opportunity to congradulate and celebrate his recent Piolet D'or award that was given to him and Vince for their groundbreaking ascent.

Right on! Tried the NE Buttress on Sunday and got skunked since everything was pretty much melted out from the hot weather all week.
Should have stayed in the shade like you guys did.
