I stumbled on a waterproof case for the s30 and s40 the other day. They claim that it will let you take pictures to a depth of 100ft. (that is a long time to be holding your breath if you ask me) It costs an extra couple hundred, but if you do any water sports, or like to climb in the pouring rain, might be worth looking into. I think sony has a underwater case for some of its cameras too... but for which models exactly escape me.

I thought a highball had to do with swimming in really cold water...

follow your path. It will either lead you to the cams or not. Neither options is better than the other..... hmmmm

Me and 2400 people ran around the UW campus. 2400 people is a lot of people.

Do you think these boots are worth $160? They probably wouldn't see much use over the winter, but I am going to be looking for a new summer boot next spring anyway. I have read good things about the Trango S, how do they compare to the Plus?

Having been to one of these yourself, you could be my pub club mentor... I think I will be able to make it down there 9ish or so... I am assuming that the festivites will be ongoing, or I might have to question all of your dedication to beer. *sigh*.... have I mentioned how much I love beer...

Beer... how I love thee... If you all don't mind a little new blood at the table, I am going to try to get down there for my pub club debut. See you there!

I am a believer in always trying to keep my mind in the climb. In my limited climbing expirence I have climbed with people that are willing to just follow the leader and tune out what is happening around them. I think most of them would be fucked if something were to happen to the leader/guide. Keep your head in the game!

Anyone ever tried to do something in a single day and then really wished they hadn't? Not even just forced to bivy, but made it back to the car and sworn that you would never try something like it again... ?

Lately I have been jammin to the funky good vibes of Jamiraqui... Tower of Power is allways on the list too...

I have been luking for a few months and just started really posting yesterday. When I am in the mood to browse some information I can usually find something that makes me think, when I am in the mood for a laugh or two, again, it is right there. I see this site as less of a climbing community, but more of a community of climbers. The site seems to work for me, but I can imagine how it wouldn't work for a lot of people.

I ran in to a group of Snaffles the other day. nothing supprising there, but the disturbing part was the seemed to be getting organized. I opened the door to a step van that had been parked down by the Tieton, and there was a whole pack of them. (pride of snaffles, pod of snaffles???) Looked like they were traing for something big....

I always use WestSystem for repairs just because I have a lot of it. There are some lower viscosity resins available that might work a little better... you can usually find small repair kits.... just stay away from auto epoxies.. and the 5min kind

I wish I still had my Nissan... great little truck... hmmm I feel a country song comming on....
