    Which 4WD SUV?

Well, certainly no disagreeing with that. And, yes, I think FB would *definitely* agree with you.
  2. I had one before I busted the shoulder strap. I liked it. I also got mine dirt cheap and it served as a useful crag pack and day pack.

    nwog.org

Are you just referring to the name or do you actually see them offering guide service somewhere on that page?!
  4. reverso owns. I use my ATC if I need to be lighter however.

    Tax Cut

Haha...middle America is too dumb to realize this. Bushy can appease them by giving everybody a measly sum of money back, while at the same time further driving us into a deficit. This would be the stupidest tax cut in the history of this country.

Above all else, I hope you enjoy your new vehicle. If sitting high and mighty above the car drivers and considering yourself better is what brings you joy, more power to you. When it's all said and done, enjoying yourself is what matters.

    Which 4WD SUV?

Haha, you wankers crack me up. I'm not disputing that owning a nice vehicle is more fun. I, in fact, own one myself. What really gets me is this "I need to show off my nice vehicle to others" crap. Give me a break. If you cared about giving your customers a nice ride, you'd get a cadilliac or any number of fine german luxury autos, rather than some top-heavy converted truck. BTW, BubRub, I think you'd having a hard time convincing fred beckie or a slew of other people that the only thing that holds it's appeal over time is driving a nice car or having money or whatever the hell you meant with that comment. And related to the anti-establishment comment about my boss, he owns two motorcycles (drives them on sunny weekends) and spends his money on other things he must enjoy, including retiring early I'm sure. Every stop to think that impressing the ress of suburbia might not be everybody's idea of a good use for their money?!
  8. That's cool and all, but at least go outside! Something tells me erik's comment was slightly tounge in cheek.
  9. Understood, this makes sense. I guess, as somebody we saw up there pointed out, it keeps more tourons and gumbies away. The extra milage only adds 1 hour each way. carry on, I was just expressing my god given right to hate the USFS.

I agree, leather is much bette rfor getting dirty than cloth. Cloth is a pain to clean. I still can't believe you claim you need this vehicle to keep up with the jones' in your parking lot at work. What kind of insecure loser are you? I really can't see how what type of car you drive should matter to your employees. My boss at work doesn't even own a car (takes the bus) I guarantee he makes more than 99.9% of the people on this board. Not that I wish to give the idea that I care how much he, or any of you make, but you guys do seem fairly fixated on it.
  11. OK, great, whatever. You guys seem to think I am bagging on the guy or something. I told him right to his face that he climed something harder and more impressive than triple couliors. I was duly impressed. In case it wasn't clear, paco, sweet climb. I'm sure the bed felt mighty nice later that day, eh?
  12. Didn't turn out? Sounds like it turned out better. He got to the top and took a more badass line. Nice work dawg. Yeah, that's what I told him too. Sounded more interesting than triple couliors proper. Unless I misunderstood, I thought Paco told me he didn't go to the top, but veered off onto the east ridge than down. In any event, I think he got his climb's worth.
  13. Paco, good meeting on sturday, sorry it didn't turn out how you hope. If it makes you feel any better, shortly after you left, we spent the next 18 hours stuck in the tent. The weather turned to crap and got even worse on sunday despite the weather forecast.
  14. The bridge creek road is snow free for nearly 3 miles. Anybody know why it's still gated?!
  15. holy hickness batman. And apparently "Kalifornia" is communist. "I really think this is disgusting the way we are forced to sell our birth rights just so computers can run in Kalifornia. I hope That Comunist State reads my lips.... Leave the Union. I support Mexico reasserting authority over Kalifornia if it means saving our Lakes and Resevoirs. I know this is harsh but wait till Summer hits and we have rolling Blackouts Here!"
  16. I really put a lot of stock in this comment coming from a guy who actually put in the a bunch of time to create his own website dedicated to average weekend warrior climbs in the PNW.
  17. Umm, is it actually possible to get stoked for pulling on plastic? I really didn't think it was...
  18. I care too. Blix is completely right and his opinion on the matter is something I would like to hear. I think it makes fully clear that bushy's claims about WMDs were bullshit from the beginning. Those of you who deny this are fooling yourselves.
  19. Anybody who threatens anybody else on an internet message board has serious small dick syndrome.
  20. forrest, snow is aid. Your ascent wasn't clean at all.
  21. 'tis true, nothing like the sound of a nice V8. That's why I really want to smack around the dipshit riceboys and there coffee-canned POS civics. Worthless fucks. bbbaawwwwwww!!! For fuck's sake, your car sounds like a weedwhacker on crack, asswipe!
  22. fucking shit. Open it right *after* the weekend. Fucking DOT, thanks a lot.
  23. I have 4,232 caribiners, so fuck off.
  24. I like my edelweis.
  25. Shrub's backing of alternative fuels is BS. It's a small amount meant to appease the middle ground. In any event, electric powered cars have the potential to be very very cool. One thing you'll notice about that GM one is how all the weight is very low. This will be great for handling. All of you current SUV and truck owners will get the joy of driving a vehicle that doesn't handle like ass on a stick. Also, trask, I think electric vehicles have the potential for very quick acceleration. They should be much lighter and electric motors are very torquey. the interal combustion engine has served us great for 100 years or more, but it's life span will end soon enough. It's aincient technology.
