    25 Viewing...

don't worry about a thing, landing is guaranteed!
  2. just telling that the obvious explanation isn't even considered: that all major media is biased toward the interest of their corporate sponsors which makes their "reporting" effectively conservative. the concerted flag waving march in support of war, the coverup of various whitewash "investigations", the hatchet job on Gore, or the relentless hunt after clinton's dick, etc .... showed that, yes, fox is especially for rightwing nutjobs, but also that the rest of the corporate media always locks footsteps behind the interest of conservative sponsors. so why should it be a surprise that fox by itself doesn't make a significant difference in viewer voting behavior when the rest of the media doesn't report from a fundamentally different perpective?
  3. cobraaaa, dude, i completely believe that you can hover thanks to minute powerful force fields. you wouldn't be cobraaaa commander, after all, if you couldn't do it! cobraaaa!
  4. hmmm ... it's not my field but my understanding is that the observer becomes part of the system in quantum physics. It has some implications in philosophy and for the study of knowledge: is reality independent of what we observe or is there a truth?
  5. ouch! does cc.com have independent essence outside of conciousness?
  6. yes. an answer to the following: since you'd be a librarian/historian, aren't you concerned you might disturb an experiment in progress and thereby change forever the course of history or do you actually consider yourself part of the experiment?
  7. it's a small world? if i am unfair, i am unaware of it? overgrown sense of morality? i really don't know, sorry.
  8. i am surprised you said the above. i think that was effectively (not morally) true before there was a community of nations, but "might is right" as a governing principle is over with even if it may take a long while for the rule of law to be enforced. apartheid is a good example of that.
  9. well since it's a sandbox without any water, agriculture, and resources to speak of ... it's basically a huge refugee camp.
  10. no they don't. some of their rights (i.e. political) may be temporarily curtailed until the offensive behavior is fixed but rights are inalienable by definition.
  11. by golly, i love it when one invokes complexity to justify the unspeakable ...
  12. LOL i am not too sure where our support of the shah of iran, saddam hussein in the 80's and arming of bin laden (just for starters) fits in that fairy tale of yours.
  13. well, do you know of anything more relevant than the geopolitics of oil? our buddying to dictatorships? our support of zionism? our financing and training of islamo-fascism to destabilize the soviets? hey, if you can think of anything else rational i am all ears ... (the hating our freddom bullshit won't do)
  14. what i know pretty much for certain is that bin forgotten certainly expected GW to react exactly the way he did. everybody else knew what GW was going to do and bl is many bad things but certainly not a complete moron. as for cause and solution, the entire world but us seems to know that our foreign policy is the problem.
  15. of course, and their purpose was exactly that we militarize our societies and bloody score of innocents in their lands. result? the london bombers are totally homegrown and every brown person in london feels like a potential target. i doubt you can call that progress ...
  16. nobody suggested anything such. murdering people for any reason is wrong .... but so is stealing other people's land! gaza is 50km long by 15km wide, 8000settlers lived on 25% of the land, 1.2 palestinian refugees lived on the rest. no kooky religious theory is going to justify that. on edit: 1.2 millions of course
  17. LOL this is getting good! i quoted you on that because i thought it should be preserved for posterity ...

    War

because hitler was born in a vacuum
  19. i can't tell exactly why and how but it seems like you are pulling our collective leg. for example, it's obvious the descent sees a fair amount of traffic from the boot packed rap station. i'll bet it's not so obscure and it's right in our backyard ....hmmm

    War

very good! Fairweather finally figured out that Iraq and Afghanistan are 2 different countries ... not that we could have guessed so from his rhetoric anyway.
  21. "makes sense, lots of brown people lived there."
  22. you have got to be joking ... shooting a normal bystander 8 times or whatever in the head is a mistake? obviously, the terrorists have won!

    Media Bias CMXXI

that's called Piss Poor propaganda and certainly not worth a self adorned 5-star rating. but what else is new from PP?
  24. wow! can you believe this shit? looks like cold blooded murder to me.
  25. fun way to do it, but whichever way you pick to the top of these spires (winter spires as well) you'll find some lesser quality rock; not where the climbing is hard though. personally, i never thought it was much of a problem but your mileage may vary.
