  7. hey gary, go fuck off...last time i checked this morning i didn't need a lecture, punk
  8. Oh...gee thanks... don't listen to ding dong...find someone willing to split a prodeal with you and USE them... Also, check ebay for "quitter racks"...cams, particularly the bigger sizes, are pretty bomber...often, people wanna start trad climbing...buy a huge rack, try it, don't like it and sell the stuff... Also, you can find a lot of BD camalots, not C4's now...
  9. why not start high end so you don't replace? I'd suggest using other people's stuff for a while and figure out what you like and what pisses you off...then save a little bit more and buy EXACTLY what you like... no reason to mutter to yourself, "goddammit, i shoulda spent $10 more...this thing sux" Oh, and find some one to hook you up with a prodeal!

  12. that should be fine...you will get a lot of tar on your saw though....i'd rent it and wreck their's!
  13. hey shapp...you might actually consider trapping a treated board edgewise between the two...there are several reasons, first: this will produce a square, monolithic piece of concrete, as opposed to the feathering effect of concrete poured against a ragged chunk of asphalt...this will prolong the life of that concrete edge. Second: it will give a tire a slight roll point (don't know how to describe this) but being softer than either the ashpalt or the concrete it will let load smear across the two and prevent pounding down the asphalt as a tire goes from hard to soft. Third: it looks nice and the concrete, if properly built, will long outlast that asphalt. When the time comes to repave the ashpalt you will have a nice premolded joint waiting for it! fourth: concrete poured against ashpalt will interlock with the asphalt and you wind up tearing it (the asphalt) apart over time as they flex differently... Or, you could say fuck it and pour right to the asphalt after cleaning up the edge and it will probably be ok as long as really heavy stuff doesn't routinely roll over it...
