yeah...I read that one yesterday...pretty stinkin' rad! Just got back from Atlanta for the youth nationals...the level of skill exhibited by kids from Youth D (11 and under) through Junior is SICK... To be competetive, capability of flashing 12+/13 minus is MANDATORY even in the younger age brackets...

my ego has definitely taken a severe beating due to these punks...they suck...BUT, i do get to beat them for real when i get pissy... ;-)

He most certainly should have been banned yesterday for his previous post and instead of apologizing he continues with the barag for cursing and personal insults. I disagree. He is much like Joseph Healey, he sticks to his guns no matter what. I very much disagree with there guns, but I respect the fact that they stick to it like glue. I "deride" sport-climbing because of what it is: the antithesis of the clean recreation movement that has been progressing now for at least 40 years. Enjoy your convenience thrills if you like, it's no doubt very fun, but a growing number of us see it as unenvironmental and "leaving way too much trace" on OUR public land and I predict that the future will be on my side. You can petend that no one objects, but that's just fantasy. My "imposition" of beliefs is merely an expression of an opinion of which you obviously disagree. Take it or leave it. It's not "imposed" on you and any reader of this site has the ability to scroll-on-by any message coming from "Raindawg". i think that you and others have the intellectual ability to see that calling you a "blowhard" has no bearing necessarily on the caller's lack of tolerance for opposing viewpoints; you might simply be a blowhard, simple as that. at least you've matured past the point of posting pics of the developmentally disabled in a piss-poor attempt at smearing those you disagree with; congratulations.

I disagree with this. And as much as I disagree with Raindawg he is almost always kind and even keeled. I challenge anyone to find where he has attacked you by calling you names. This site absolutely needs folks like Raindawg. You always need the other side to be presented. IMO. I have had my draws taken from a climb I left them on. The only person to blame was myself for leaving them there. I would never post on this or any site requesting them back. It is no different than knowingly leaving them on the ground at the base of the climb then coming back a week later, then being pissed that someone took them. I have no problem with draws left hanging, just dont be pissed when someone else cleans them and takes them. The reality is you left them. do clown pics representing the opposing viewpoints count? nah, that wouldn't be insulting [rolleyes]
