  1. DFA is closing in on the top 5 time wasters list. I see erik's count appears to be corrupt in the user list.
  2. you need permits to go there?
  3. if you saw that guy wipe out in the gates then you probably saw me ski down the old chute. It was way too icy to be skiing that stuff still. that kid is lucky to be alive. I skied over underneath Devil's Kitchen HW to look for his ski in the debris. No luck. Good to hear he found it. He was pretty shaken up about it, and rightly so.
  4. I just wanted to show the whippersnapper that I can come out of retirement and tear it up with the pagetops at anytime, anywhere. I am the extremomtndude of pagetops.

  6. looks like a sting operation
  7. fortunately you don't have to look at the guy when listening. anyone who says those albums don't rock is a communist.

  9. too true Winter, I did forget the wOOk X-factor... "He's a loathsome, offensive brute, yet I can't look away!" that one kills me every time!
  10. It's a real shame when people think you're a member of the French Foreign Legion and you're not even wearing a hat.
  11. who else is good? Did you catch that Gene Simmons interview on Fresh Air a year or so ago? Terry Gross was priceless!
  12. or... 1) it's time for a trip to the washing machine 2) you use a narrow-mouthed pee bottle and are a bad shot.
  13. wish I could join you lads but I have to be in Corvallis this evening. Be sure to drag DFA out from the shadows.
  14. erik would Jah approve of your tone right now?
  15. will there be call-ins? ask him to beta-test his bindings before he puts 'em out on the shelves or at least buy out another company to take care of the problem.
  16. agreed, spaced just enough to maybe keep you alive and prevent you from littering a wilderness area with your femur. Much of that stuff was pioneered by the same folks who put up those ice axe/piton "routes" on Three Fingered Jack.
  17. Or Victor Wooten of the Flecktones. They will be at the Zoo this summer. They are not what they used to be but worth checking it out.
  18. Chuck Prophet: No Other Love
  19. cool, just seems like a lot of folks have been hitting the sandy hw in the past few years.
  20. Funny how washington climbers without fail head for the SGH since it's the only decent Hood route in Nelson/Potterfield Now with Yocum in the new edition that will be the only other route WA's do now. As for skis, I skied the old chute that day, it wasn't worth it . I got up there too early, got bored waiting for the sun to finally do some work, so it was a bulletproof affair with atrocious runout. Bringing skis to the saddle at least, however, is mandatory. Nice work.
  21. yes and please don't get injured up there it is a pain in the ass getting a litter up and down that trail. BTW the above photo is rooster rock. there are bolted lines.
  22. just ask santa. dude free solos chimneys for a living, yo
  23. too bad revivex is like $2/oz. I like the Nikwax wash-in stuff because I am lazy and can just dump all that stuff in at once.
