  1. You know you're having fun when you can climb a mountain and go flyfishing all in the same trip. Now if I could figure out how to incorperate skiing and music into this scenario, I would bliss hard.
  2. I thought I might chime in since I am one of those climber-who-packs-his-flyrod types. Check this out: http://www.watrailblazers.org/forum/viewthread.php?tid=62 Check their forum for more info on what to use, etc. I pack a flyrod because for the amount of energy it takes to haul it up there versus the amount of energy you gain from eating a fresh trout, it is worth it. It is still a gamble if there is some level of uncertainty about the contents to a particular lake but there are ways around that

  10. Hello Tony, I was there at the time of the incident as well as my roommate Dave Yount and his girlfriend Cheri Dunham. We were climbing close by and heard the commotion. I made an effort to help the EMT's in any way possible but they had everything under control. Let me know if you need anything. Sincerely, Tony Bentley tony (at sign) featheredfriends.com
  11. Right On!! That looks like a fun route.
  12. Bring RB's!!!!! Like 25 will do it and the drill holes don't have to be as deep! Second the glue and also tie offs for saplings. 3 mil cord prussik'd around the sapling should work. Lots of static line as well. Maybe a lawnchair for bivys.
