That sucks....why? Are you ok? i will be. it is just planter fasciitis which is apparently not uncommon for people who hike back pack or run. after all the stuff i read last night i just need to get with the program and into shoes that work with my feet, get my insoles, heal and then i am GOLDEN

i don't think there is such a thing as too optimistic thank you everyone. i appreciate the kind words and great advice. my plan is to take it easy and listen to my body. by the equipment that I need to help me get where i want to go. bike, aid climb, and get good shoes to wear at home, in the office and most importantly when i am working out. it feels devastating right now because i am not sure where to start or what to buy first or what will happen. once i start walking the path it wont be so scary. p.s. if any one needs a belay....

not as bad as i had feared. weighed in at 141 this am.

the Novocain is wearing off my foot... i never realized i could have so many issues. the thing that freaks me out is that my mom was never an athlete but she wore high i mean HIGH heals everyday. even her house slippers were heals. and her feet are just fine.

This statement has me concerned... Considering your lackadaisical approach to spelling, are you sure you haven't been seeing a proctologist instead of a podiatrist? well he took ex rays of me feet and not my ass so i think i am headed in the right direction. but then i have always thought i would do better if i had a Muffy handler to manage all those pesky details.
-
My ass resembles that remark. So SHUT UP! i don't think so. i have seen a woman with a two sidewalk square ass... and it wasn't you
-
you took my words and twisted them to your own evil purpose word twister

oh and he's a climber too. maybe he is just trying to get my fat ass off the routes??

I don't know i kinda like the idea of being able to walk when i am 60

it just sunk in about 20 minutes ago, that the doc i saw today has forbade me from climbing for the foreseeable future. i can't hike with a pack, i can't hike far. just moderate walking. i can bike and swim all i want. i think i really am going to have to learn to aid, or i will go insane.
-
And then some, baby! I think i am about 2 side walk squares behind you Never before have I heard a woman describe another woman's ass as "2 side walk squares". that is not what i said. take it back meany i happen to know archy has a very nice ass.

okay that was funy. i really did weigh 210. there is no secret. it just takes eating less and moving more. part of what makes this time so hard is that i quit smoking in october. i smoked for 20 years. i miss it.

that sounds really painful Yeah, there was a trip last summer where I packed in a weeks worth of bagels and tuna. It WAS painful........ Maybe try distributing the load among several orifices. that is good advice.

Was that a muffgasm? not quite but i could be convinced

Funny thing- I just noticed that Allison came here to start all this crap over three vantage TR's that were all written by three different people, containing a mix of three different groups, over a period of several months. Then why did you start this? Oh, thats right, I think "Brent" said it best here. Looks like one of the TR's your slamming here was someones first post? Way to welcome the new guys No wonder you have a reputation for running people off the site. W00t score one for the hiker boy. he made the obvious muff diving joke. all i have to say about that is, ummm DUH. i don't think there is a person left on this site who doesn't know i go both ways.
