Spoken like a true gym baby. Conditions on alpine climbs change day by day. A climb that is standard one week can become quite 'noteworthy' the next. Many of us really appreciate the folks who post TRs that describe current conditions and very useful recent photos. Also, many of us enjoy and are inspired by what our friends are out there doing, even if it didn't make the cover of Rock and Ice. TRs are a great way to connect with folks who have just been there, especially if you're planning on doing a route nearby. Third, writing and reading TRs is fun. Not that that has anything to do with the sport. And finally, climbing is a personal game. One man's noteworthy is another's walk in the park. So be it. Every TR posted here has value. I actually agree with you about the alpine conditions. I think it is indeed noteworthy to post a TR in such an ever changing environment. however i don't think anyone wants to hear about the 1200 time i have climbed Fat Crack at the colllums (W00T) no matter how much fun i have and how much i enjoy watching the sunset over the city i love while tearing down my anchor and rapping down. by noteworthy i don't mean 5.14. i mean something of interest that 99.9% of the climbing population hasn't seen, and done in the exact same way in the exact same conditions. it would be noteworhty to post a TR if i bolt were missing on a sport route. or if chains were missing... something unique. I also enjoy TR's if they are particularly humorous. Pope and Dwayner for instance have been known to make a cragging TR totally enjoyable.

I would be more than happy to direct you to the nakid picture of me on the internet though because i do enjoy actual porn. and for the record i was out climbing 5.7's today and now i am going to get fucked so am am getting all kinds. I don't climb much during the week, because i have a successful career, spend time with my kids most every day and have 50% custody of them. I have a functioning co-parenting relationship with my ex husband, i have many friends, a multitude of hobbies and interests and a wonderful boyfriend and extended family. marylou had every right to post her opinion of someting she thought was lame, I happen to hold the same opinion. if you can't handle the idea of someone not thinking you are the cats kitty every time you clip a bolt or summit some moderate peak, don't post about it on the internet. no one obligated to be nice to you. TR Colin is such a doll i wanted to wrap him up and bring him home. the show was great. the BCGear shop is AMAZING!!! i got the grand tour and offered to move into the warehouse. it is a climbers WET DREAM!!! I was treated like a Queen and got to see all of my local favorite climbers. AND i met a new hottie named John!! I sure hope i run into him again The slides were AMAZING. Patagonia is inspiring and breath taking. i had beer. i talked and hugged. it was a GREAT TIME!!! i wish you had all been there. xoxoxoxo muffin p.s. look i did a TR!!!
