  1. We left only webbing (and one pin), no biners. Everything we left we tied and it was good at the time. Greg_W

  6. That's the funniest fucking 'Saber' TR I've ever read.
  7. Now you're sporting a snot-rocket on your right shoulder!!! BWahahahahaha!!!!
  8. Got mine today. Wahooo. Hey, I think I saw you at Lynn Hill last night...I flicked a booger at you.
  9. Were you in the yellow sleeping bag across from the boulder? I dropped a loogie in your ear while you were sleeping Sun. morning. I was in the grey Chevy Silverado and white Toyota pickup.
  10. to the dog or the owner? To the dog when it jumps. If the owner's a buddy, feel free to knee him too.
  11. A knee to the chest quashes any desire to jump.
  12. Hey, bitch, I said laid back dogs were okay. It's people who should know better and let their dogs run amok that piss me off.
  13. On Saturday we were at Careno Crags and only saw 4 other people who weren't on anything we were after. We were at the bivy above Bridge Creek Sat. night and at Clem's Holler & Retardant on Sunday.
  14. Why not? The cragging season is upon us, someone must have a story or two to tell already. I, for one, find it amazing that a long-time climber would NOT have control of his dog. A dog at the crag is fine if it's friendly. However, if its owner doesn't maintain control of it, puts it in the care of others, or allows it to walk on other climbers' ropes and gear, then the dog is deserving of whatever discipline the offended climber feels is necessary. It's a shame really.
  15. This is what I do. An excerpt: "...tlg showed up to climb Angels Crest (5.10b) wearing those shiny black tights and a smile; I faked an injury so I could walk behind her on the approach..."
  16. I kept a weather eye out for you (or your rig), but didn't see either. Where were you climbing/camping?
  17. I saw that you posted on this thread and that was going to be my response: You don't have any gear to mark!

    Lynn Hill?

Well, I won't denigrate the woman; she's obviously an icon in the climbing world. However, her presentation and organization skills were lacking (I felt). Many of her pictures were ones I had already seen in mags or in her book.

    Lynn Hill?

    Yep. Lame.
  20. Hey, I'm invading this place in a couple weeks. Any thoughts on good camping and routes to hit? All I have is Smoot's POS "Washington Rock" as a guide for the area.
  21. You better hope so, since that will keep you safely insulated behind your monitor where you belong.
  22. Whatever happened to this wonderful idea? Stays light 'til about 7 nowadays...
  23. I can't say I really like your lingering smell, either, Dave; must by why I don't go to Pub Clubs.
