  1. Nada is snow free, two weeks ago we saw some snow under the trees along Snow Lake; however, several campsites were snow-free. Are you asking about the descent from Asgaard to Colchuck Lake? This has snow and is very manageable, as of a week ago. West Ridge of Prusik is snow free. Someone may have more up-to-date info on snow levels, but that is what we saw. If your friends are going in to do Prusik, hiking in via Snow Creek Wall is probably the better way to go, less time on snow (could hike in sneakers if they wanted to). Scot'BrandNameHere: I hate to resurrect your claim to fame thread (not really), but if you're boasting about dropping acid why would you give a shit about some dudes toking up in the Muir Hut? Sounds kind of stupid to this gaper. Greg W

  6. Why would someone be a vegan when there are so many tasty animals out there? Anyway, I'll have my daughter collect some slugs and we'll bbq them for ya. Do the Gardenburger people make a "Garden-horsecock"? [ 07-01-2002, 02:23 PM: Message edited by: Greg W ]
  7. No, dude, it's a processed, preserved meat product that is a tasty trail snack. As an added benefit, it contains a large amount of protein that a body needs during the exertion commonly experienced during strenuous hiking, climbing, or skiing. Horsecock...'cause Fred Beckey can't be wrong.

If we have to know where you are and miss you, will you come over do a week's worth of laundry, dishes, and cleaning just like you'll have to do at your house?
  10. It's Canada Day, Dru is out with the rest of Canada trying to figure out if Canada is actually a country, or just the red-headed stepchild of the United States.

Don't know, I just wanted to contribute to this thread as it will surely be lengthy. And I hope Scott still gets an e-mail notification with each post.
