Fence Sitter - I have been on the same side as you in previous arguments, but in this one you sound like a whiny little bitch. Erik is 100% right; you have no "right" to violate the property rights of BC Rail. From the access battles that I have followed, you stand a chance of striking a black mark against climbers in the eyes of BC Rail if you are caught (or even spotted, not necessarily arrested). Bide your time and put your pent up energy towards the access battle ('cause you're obviously not getting laid at that bible college ). Join the fight, don't bitch from the sidelines. Greg W

I took a long look at MEC's higher level 3-ply Gore-Tex jackets when I was in the market. They seem well-made and built with the climber in mind. I ended up buying a Mtn Hardware 'cause I got a deal, but would take a second look at the MEC next time. Price is nice when you convert to US$

Strong coffee, scramble some eggs w/some Tabasco and cheddar cheese, insert eggs in homemade tortillas with some cheese and slip back in the skillet to warm it all up and melt the cheese. This is my favorite breakfast when I am home on the weekends; stop on by if you're heading out to Index (bring your own eggs if there are more than 2 in your car). Oh, yeah; liberal dose of Pace Picante on top. Greg W [ 10-30-2002, 09:25 AM: Message edited by: Greg W ]

Since that would be a good grade for me to start learning at, I think it's great (plus it's 15 minutes from my house).

Good point. When do we go? Oh, um, can you teach me how to ice climb before we go? Besides a complete lack of skill, I am totally ready to go. Greg W

Mike's post gives me an idea. It was pretty cold at my house this morning. Maybe we could set up a hose at the top of the GNS for a few weeks this winter. I've got 90' that I'm not using this winter. Anyone else want to contribute?

Saw a hint of snow on Pilchuck last night driving home. Also, snow on Stickney and the mountains out Index way. SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!!!

Actually, to come to Dru's defense, the Canadians fought with distinction in World War II; both in ground forces and the RAF. [ 10-29-2002, 03:44 PM: Message edited by: Greg W ]

I'm 5 and was riding my neighbor's bike down the hill in front of our house. Our street Teed into another street and as I approached this intersection at a decent rate of speed a car (stationwagon, I think) entered the intersection. What to do? In my quick thinking (forgetting brakes), I put my head down and prepared to ram the car! I broadsided the car, fell over, and ran away when the driver got out to ask if I was okay. I ran home and hid in my room until the guy figured out where I lived and told my mom what happened. Mom thought I had a concussion - absolutely no damage; jury is still out on after affects.

Like why they take so much of my money? Sure. I believe that the military is the purview of the government and that the military has a specific purpose. I do question why our government sends our military on bullshit "humanitarian" missions. Yeah. Saving people from natural disasters etc. bad. Enforcing a peace or ceasefire, bad. Killing people good. Especially civilians or friendly forces. Fuck dat humanitarian shit. More killing! Every time you post like this you help renew my faith in Canadians as a people. Thank you. I'm weepy
