This statement belies your complete and utter lack of understanding re the complexity of this issue. Putin had the guy arrested not because he was a corrupt oil baron, but because he was becoming a political threat. His action will likely now throw the struggling RF economy into even deeper chaos. yeah it was... before they just took the hangers and i was thinking how dangerous that was... especially if soemone led up there to find they were missing... what is the lefebre erratic? bouldering action? never heard of it.

That style of climbing out of a mud pit only to discover someone stole all the hangers? Go to Hatzic instead... granite... bumper belay.... yeah i was climbing there before the SAR guys jacked the hangers... they even took the lead bolts. actually i dont care cause i would rather go elsewhere... i just remember climbing there when it was snowing and i hated everyminute cause i was hangdoggin'

i think technique has something to do with it... as does how clean your rope is. if you keep your hand to the side of it while belaying there is much more friction... if you run it down the middle there is much less friction. the dirty rope will wear it down much much faster... imbeded particles continually rubbing the metal... also not good for the rope. just a thought. dont know what your scenario is.

sumas mountain... i struggle up the easy 10's there... but it is a shit heap anyways... i hate that style of climbing.
