exact same thing happened to me on diedre. my first leading experience. it was the middle of winter and it was full of mud and i couldn't get shit in. i was climbing near full pitches with 3 shitty nuts in. i was shaking like a motherfucker. then, the exit moves on my next lead was slab covered in water which was rather fightening. the whole time i jsut wanted to be done, but by the time i got back to the car, i couldn't wait for tomorrow.

I found a good way to work out on the pull-up bar if you are wanting to keep at around 10 reps and are too storng to do this with regular and too weak with one arms (i can't even do one). toss a towel over the bar and grab both sides with one hand and the bar with the other. change hand positions on the towel to vary the difficulty of the pull-up.

I would be doing less than whimpering if i jumped on a 5.13 with shite gear. I have a few 'brown' points under my belt but i couldn't imagine doing them a couple grades higher.
