i'm a public school teacher, so of course not...at least not on friday's after 2:10.

looks like it dries out a bit on friday and over the weekend - i'd like to climb friday afternoon and one of the weekend days

that would blow my fucking mind i was disappointed to see that no one ended up the evening w/ massive headwounds

ha! i'm so stupid (and impoverished) i figured that was my only option a long time ago - new pairs of underwear are cheaper than soloists at any rate

that's a pretty big assumption there. an assumption, i'll grant you - but how far fetched is it to assume that someone who could give a shit about whether or not they had a kid would give a shit about that kid when they had it? i hope i'm a decent parent, but my daughter was an "accident," and i'm quite certain that my own selfish, stupid hangups and feelings about having to accept those new crushing responsibilites did effect her over the first year or two of her life - i do think she'll be fine in the end b/c i mostly got over those issues, but then i'm a professional, (mostly) happily married, employed, had a good father/mother role-model, etc. i'd imagine a statistical survey of prisons would show a greater tendency amongst the inmates then the population at large to come from broken, fucked up homes - i know for sure poverty is a major risk factor for anti-social behavior, and clearly poor folks have less control over their reproduction

Hypocrisy at its best I am confused, didn't these things exist when Clinton was president?? (i.e Pakistan, Palestine) WWII one bombing raid into Germany 80K civilians died, In one raid. Was this wrong??? yes. that was my point. hypocrism is nothing new, and no political party or persuasion has a monopoly on it. and yes, killing 80k civilians is wrong. but right and wrong don't really mean a damn thing when you're just a few evolutionary hop'skips'n'jumps from amoebas.

That's a fact of biology but the equation doesn't change just because the terms are inequitable. The other 50% should own up to their responsibilities and pay the suitable consequences...at least 18 years worth in this society. but they don't live up to their consequences and their kids end up suffering the consequences

Regardless....you play the game, you accept the risks and consequences. You have sex, you might conceive. You go climbing, you might get hit with a rock, etc. the difference is - you play the game, an innocent person ends up getting fawked as a result - that is, in having stupid sex, you create a child who then is unloved and unwanted - they pay the price, not you - more like me climbing rocks and sending a resulting boulder down ontop of some poor schmoo's head

Hypocrisy at its best which, again, i aint' exactly against - it's classically american - we were the nation that famously founded itself by declaring that all were free and equal when in fact less than a quarter of the population were so. at least we're being consistent?

it also appears inconsistent to be anti-abortion and anti-welfare, another classic conservative conundrum - why demand people have their unwanted babies when they are very likely going to be unable or unwilling to properly care for them, resulting in more chaos for the state as it has to provide services for them, including jailing them for life when their resulting existential angst makes them sociopaths? or how about proclaiming to the world that we're for the expansion of democracy (at the price of collataral death and damage to millions) while refusing to recognize the result of democratic elections in palestine or sever our cozy-connections to military dictators in pakistan?

but what could be more american than being a hypocrite? it's practically a form of patriotism!
