You do have a good point but it is fucken hard to ski on nice packed out trails. ummm its a bit hard on the skis. I don't have enough petex to fix that.

Your a bit to early for north cascades I doubt they will not even have the cascade river road plowed by then... The state has nothing to do with that road it is plowed by the county and when they discide to get off there ass and plow it will be plow not until. If you go a month later I might be able to go with yeah but by then I would want do a circnavagation of boston basin hit 6 peaks eldo, buckner, forbidion torment traverses sahale, sharkfin tower ect lots of good stuff in there heavy pack which sucks but tons of climbin

Caveman, have you seen a sherif up in those parts... I didn't think that many people were that stupid about going up there and getting caught.

I have done the route before it is a great route i did it three years ago in july the route was great the bushwack sucked. I told myself I would not do it again late season only early season soo here I am doing it early season I will be going up there next weekend. I was going to do it this weekend but weather moved on in.

I found that most of the time that they have the road plowed all the way throught but the DOT dosen't allowed the road to be open until they feel it be safe. I bet right now it plowed and the date that I have heard from the DOT was around may 15th

It is angel crack right next to damnation. I would like to wear a pair of those boot and do it. I bet back then it was 5.9

I will be up there the weekend before (4 and 5)or 11 and 12 condtions depending I am thinking about skiing the north face probably wont unless conditions are perfect and end up skiing down the white salmon. I will give yeah the beta if its good enough could probably solo

I agree with beacons they are great but one things I see alot is people have these great new shine beacons and use the wear them but when it comes down to it don't know how to use them yeah you can find another beacon with them but can you find them in two mins or three thats the ture test.
