  2. Summited the west ridge this past friday, some of the cracks have snow on them and there was snow mainly on the 2nd to the last pitch... When you rap off there is alot of snow on the way back if you have very icy conditions might considered bring an ice ax to the top. Couple of us almost pitched do to the shear ice and semi-steep slope

  7. You do have a good point but it is fucken hard to ski on nice packed out trails. ummm its a bit hard on the skis. I don't have enough petex to fix that.
  8. Your a bit to early for north cascades I doubt they will not even have the cascade river road plowed by then... The state has nothing to do with that road it is plowed by the county and when they discide to get off there ass and plow it will be plow not until. If you go a month later I might be able to go with yeah but by then I would want do a circnavagation of boston basin hit 6 peaks eldo, buckner, forbidion torment traverses sahale, sharkfin tower ect lots of good stuff in there heavy pack which sucks but tons of climbin

  10. Caveman, have you seen a sherif up in those parts... I didn't think that many people were that stupid about going up there and getting caught.
  11. I have done the route before it is a great route i did it three years ago in july the route was great the bushwack sucked. I told myself I would not do it again late season only early season soo here I am doing it early season I will be going up there next weekend. I was going to do it this weekend but weather moved on in.

  16. I use to race alpine about 5 years ago and then switched to tele for bc reasons and now I do both I got the tour lite set up to shave some weight, I would call myself an agressive skier too so what kind of problems have you had with.

  18. I found that most of the time that they have the road plowed all the way throught but the DOT dosen't allowed the road to be open until they feel it be safe. I bet right now it plowed and the date that I have heard from the DOT was around may 15th
  19. green mountain ha ha ha you might be able to find a v 0--- Sorry man there is really nothing on the kitsap area. There is a small area called chimicum on the other side of the hood canal but that is about it and the rock sucks
