    Now I'm confused. I mean p5-p10 approximately where the climbing is mostly class 4 and there is a lot of junk on the ledges. But if your wife was complaining about it on descent, maybe by "rubbly midsection" you mean the scree chutes between the alder and the bivi site?

    See anybody else up there? I bet it was a good place to get some solitude this w/e. Is the mid section still rubbly or is it cleaning up with traffic? Jordop's jokes are not so much private as wilfully obscure. Jordan, don't you wish now, with hindsight, that you had named Back of Beyond Buttress something more like "Amazingly Accessible Buttress"?

    1) Squamish Guide from Elaho (McLane) 2) Squamish Select from Quickdraw (Bourdon) includes Whistler etc. 3) I think Elaho Whistler guide is out of print or out of date now but copies are still around.

    latest Slesse NE conditions beta: Snow around Prop Cairn, Bypass Glacier still mostly there. East Face Glacier sending chunks down to Prop Cairn area. However both Bypass and East Face Gl. are mostly stable right now, only one big chunk of each came off in the 2 days we were watching them. Still snow on the summit and bivy ledge.
