    picked wrong day for alpine, got up around 1:30 am, snow not frozen at 2:30 am, back to bed aroud 3:30 am, bouldering at 2pm. off to squampton in 15 minutes

    the old blue Scarpa Freny was near perfect. my advice is don't get anything with a goretex liner or fabric patches. one piece leather upper mandatory.

    Interestingly enough, if you plot the rate of increase of human knowledge (total information) over time many models also show it reaching a near-vertical increase around 2012. Technological Singularity?
