yeah you really know a thing or two, don't you.

it's way easy to be cynical.

to answer your question: yes. very much so. it has little to do with gw and the policy changes he has brought (although privatization can theoretically help my business). it has more to do with following my inspiration, and a lot of perseverance. inflationary pressures are quite secondary at this stage. having said that, i feel empathy for anyone feeling pressure and stress due to economic uncertainty and the structural governmental and business changes endemic in our society nowadays.

2nd Amendment freedoms restored in National Parks?
sexual_chocolate replied to Fairweather's topic in Spray
without the fashion sense or gym built bodies that's pretty funny. fairweather, 4 of your links referred to the same two incidents, and another was from what, 16 years ago. and sadly enough, all women sans one. I'm sure the list would have been quite a bit longer if all those murderers didn't die in traffic accidents on their way to kill kill kill. so all you could drag up was five murders in what, 15 years, and you're so paranoid about hiking yo wanna tote? that's as crazy as the homocidal maniac. -

and we all know the threat they represent. mmmmmmmm, i love the flavor of my paranoia. -
organic apples: $1.49 a pound at PCC this evening. I almost always find Org apples at PCC or Whole Foods for a buck fifty or sometimes less.

100% on food price increase? lemme guess: you went from shopping at albertson's to shopping at whole foods? plus, i wasn't speaking from my own experiences. my gas bill has gone up to about 200 a month, but over half of that is business-related. i do want to get an electric car though, maybe the zenn.... and food: i just don't pay attention. seems like the produce i buy (organic) is close to what it was a few years ago....along with everything else at pcc and WF. mebbe i'm wrong though....

jeez, that's a lot of driving and eating. restrict their diets, and grow your own food.

they probably sold you benite. it'll raise grain, and even out stain absorption. good point from sherri about the grain raise (depends on the wood yer using too). benite the wood, then sand, then stain and seal. if its a soft wood, you might get a couple of grain raises, so check. and you probably don't want to do this if it's raining either, cuz rain on your workpiece could affect the finished quality.

how much driving do you do, and how many mouths do you feed? let's say one drives their prius 20 miles a day 7 days a week, 4 weeks a month. that's 560 miles a month, and around 10 gallons of fuel. so with fuel going from $2 a gallon to $4 a gallon, one's monthly fuel bill goes from $20 a month to $40 a month, just a $20 monthly increase. with food, the average increase across the food board has been what, around 10%? if an average person spent $200 a month 4 years ago, and now spends $220, that's also a $20 a month increase. This totals $40 a month in increased food and fuel expenditures. Not that bad, really. Now one might be encountering lower or stagnant pay, thanks to the republicrats, and that would magnify the sting.

yeah practice on the back, and let it dry so you see the results. if you're staining a repair (the patch you did), i'd duplicate a patch on the back and see how the stain is taken up by it. adn don't stain if it's raining on your workpiece, cuz the rain will just wash the stain off, and maybe leave a mottled appearance.

second the c4 at 4 mil. shave it to 3mm if yer pullin hard at the Rock, hehe. i think onyx is what's on my new velcro anasazi, and it's decent for what i've been pullin on. anything steep and it dont really matter a huge load anyways it seems.

"prim" means "prime", i assume? spackling won't necessarily give you a different finish. If you don't put more than one coat of paint on (you don't need to use a proprietary "primer" paint; just use your finish paint and put on a couple of coats), the spackle will absorb the paint differently than the wood, causing a textural and sheen difference. a couple of coats of paint will mitigate this. if you sanded the spackle and wood carefully to 150 grit i'd say, no one will ever be able to tell where your patch is. wow, this is getting pretty involved for a little frame project!

it simply means "to apply thinly in sweeping motions" in one direction. I'd use Synco though, an interior/exterior spackling that's really durable and a lot easier to sand than bondo. I think home depot sells it. regular lightweight spackle would prolly be fine too, since it's such a small non-structural spot. dries in 30 minutes, then sand and reapply if necessary. 3 dollars for a little container. you'll have to put on a couple of coats of paint to the whole thing.

if some were to foment rebellion in the US, and work for the overthrow of the US government, what do you think the ramifications for the perpetrators would be? just curious.... but, here's an interesting factoid which you probably recall: boris yeltsin barely won an election against a communist in the '90's. the soviet establishment was every bit as repressive as castro's has been, was it not? yet the representative of this establishment would have probably won a free election, were it not for large cash infusions from the west for his opponent (and now witness putin's popularity!). it would be truly interesting for me to witness a free election in cuba, with fidel as one of the candidates. oh, another interesting one: our old friend daniel ortega won a free and fair election in nicaragua. when we think we can speak for the people of another country, we only show our ignorance and arrogance.

buahahahaaaaa spoken by a bunch of old wankers in denial. dude, if you haven't accepted the fact that by thirty, it's pretty much all downhill in terms of ability to learn, physical abilities, skill acquisition, etc etc, then obviously you live in lalaland. don't even try.

by the way, it's "its", when its possessive qualities are in question.

for the sake of moral consistency, i assume you would support this approach with saudi arabia, kuwait, pakistan, jordan, etc etc? or do you only see it being morally applicable to small powerless impoverished countries?

bullshit! that figure is complete nonsense. i'm sure we could agree on 100,000? how about the un iraq sanctions: 500,000 to 1,000,000? can we agree?
