  14. I got a note from the parks dept, it will now cost $110 to rent the same shelter. If we have it early enough in the year we wont have to worry about reseving it. Maybe we can find a shelter that's ouut of the wind, say Woodland Park. Would be realy nice to have power. Should be planned 2 week ahead.
  15. I give this TR 5 stars. Relax, the Mountain isn't going anywhere.
  16. Good idea Bug. The added advantage is that they will be so hung over that they won't be competing for route in the morning. I wonder when the state will ban camping there. I'll bet the state could make money off a campground.
  17. Red Mountain from Snoqualmie, this is an awsome run. Gaper Gary
  18. Climb: MT Snoqualmie -Via Cave Ridge Date of Climb: 3/13/2004 Trip Report: Did it today with Mark L and Gary Y. We got a 6 AM start form Seattle so we got our turns before it got too soft. Great snow up high, howvevr, the woods down from Cave Ridge were in bad shape. Easy skin up with the help of ski crampons. We saw only 2 other people! Where was everyone, it was a great day! Gear Notes: Ski crampons are the shit! Approach Notes: Easy route finding.
  19. The latest Dave, The guidebook is suppose to be done on March 15th. They promised! We'll see. I'll send an email to you when I have it in my hands. I'm going over to Erie tomorrow, looks like a sunny day. Dallas
