I went through the Rolfing ten series about a year ago when I was back east. Found a rolfer near UGA who would do the series for $750. Ended up doing a few tune-up type visits several months later. It definitely made some lasting structural changes. If you want to know more PM me.

I've got an GG Alpine Light pack. Destroyed the first one very quickly. They sewed it back together, destroyed it again. They sent me a new one made with different material. New one is holding up great. Very light, no frills, good features and a good deal at $75. Has worked very well for day climbs on rock, snow, and ice. This pack is not heavy, it's probably lighter than almost any other pack in this volume. No stays or framesheet, just a removable doubled over section of z-rest. Very well thought out design. My Dana bomb pack got sold after a couple of times out with this one.

High pressure sodium lamps and their end products = no SAD disorder. Puff tuff, live large, don't be sad.

Why dude? You can make one with a sharpie in about three seconds.

Ya'll just send your remaining stash to me, I'll dipose of it in da proper like fashion.

Somebody call a wahmbulance. This shit is mo played out than a $3 street hooker. Get yet another avatar or get over it.

Ok Dru, here's an attempt at clarifying why these aren't meaningless stats: Population is growing at some rate "x". The economy is growing at some rate "y". If the economy is suffering though a bad period and x and y (remember, we're talking rates) stay the same there will be both an increase in # of jobs as well as an increase in # of unemployed. Say job growth and pop growth are cruising along at 3%, the economy suddenly tanks, job growth goes to 1%, pop growth stays 3%...you get the situation you described, increased number of jobs and increased number of unemployed.
-
Get over yourself PP. I used the stats from your link brah. If it's BS, it's BS you posted.

The data is expressed as a percent of population (over 16 yrs old in this case) rather than a number so as to have a basis of comparison between years, months, etc. Your proposition is already inherent in the numbers.
-
Nope, I put it there in plain numbers for ya, nothing fuzzy about that. Gave you the data, gave you my conclusion. Just because Drool read it for a way to instigate rather for comprehension doesn't make it fuzzy.

Duh...notice the "effective" term? Add the 1% increase in people who left the labor force and you have 2.8% math wiz.

I only know what worked for me. I was having problems in one shoulder for about 3 years. I tried rest, stretching, massage, rotator cuff exercises like the int/ext rotation. What eventually worked for me was strengthening the entire shoulder through military press on a smith rack and machine, bench press, and incline bench press. I think part of my problem was muscle imbalances where the medial and frontal deltoid and pec was much weaker than the rear delt and lat/rhomboid etc and it cause instability and levering on the joint. It feels almost normal again after 12 weeks of weights.

Ah Peter "the price is Right" Puget - I checked out the stats in your link (nice database btw) and here is what I found: In Dec 2000, the unemployment rate was 3.9%, the labor force participation rate was 67% In Dec 2003, the unemployment rate was 5.7%, the labor force participation rate was 66% That's an effective increase in unemployment of 2.8% Of course one could attribute the participation rate dip to an aging population...alternatively one could attribute it to exhausted unemployment and discouraged workers temporarily leaving the labor force. One might interpret these numbers to mean that today's equivalent rate of unemployment, when compared to Dec 2000, is actually 6.7%

The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country. If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure. One word sums up probably the responsibility of any Governor, and that one word is 'to be prepared'. I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future. The future will be better tomorrow. We're going to have the best educated American people in the world. I stand by all the misstatements that I've made. We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a part of Europe. Public speaking is very easy. A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls. We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur. For NASA, space is still a high priority. It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it.

Yeeesss, Dr. B, indeed my good man. Your quote from the article there sounds quite similar to something I said in an earlier thread:

I've been under a rain of PBR cans and pistachio shells at the Butte before. Don't leave anything up top, watch out for dirty needles and soiled underwear at the base, and wear your helmet. There are some fun climbs there. Enjoy!

your fishing ignorance is high. You know not of what you speak C'mon down to the south sometime, bedding largemouth in April will just about rip a buzzbait or pig-n-jig to pieces. And the crappie will hit medium-deep trolled plastic grubs like crazy. Freshwater fishin' is good fun.

You guys are funny. The post CBS linked was a blatant troll, the guy must buy his line on a 1000m spools to hook 'em from that far away.

C'mon, people who want to read "Which shoes should I buy?", "Places to toprope in Connecticut?", and "What is the hardest V2 on the rock-gym's 45 wall?" threads twice a week use rc.com. The signal to noise at rc.com is as high or higher than here, but here the noise is at least way more entertaining. Without spray, you'd have no Mounties on the cover of the Joshua Tree album...think about that one. As long as spray stays in Spray, who cares. If it's a big deal, write some code that takes Spray posts out of the "last 25" or "last 50" searches and put the spray topic at the bottom of the main page, downsize the font so you really have to know where to look. There are plenty of ways to put a cleaner "public face" on the place without altering the character.

Ellensburg, just look at the resources. Here's a factor I wish someone had stressed to me: Look at the male to female ratio of the schools before you decide! If you want a school with awesome year-round climbing of all types nearby, Mesa State in Grand Junction might be the single best college in the country. Don't laugh ya'll...multi-pitch (up to 800ft or so)granite in Unaweep Canyon with plenty of new route possibilies right on the edge of town, cool sandstone bouldering on the edge of town, Rifle limestone sportness 1.5 hr, Indian Creek 2 hr, Ouray 2 hrs, Black Canyon 2 hrs, and countless other stuff within 3 hrs. The town is mediocre, but the resources are unbelievable. World class climbing, mtn biking, canyoneering, and more right there. A close second in my book is Dixie State College in St. George. Again, year round climbing on tons of different rock with Zion big wall haven < 1hr, lots of local crags like Snow Canyon (basalt) or Chuckwalla (sandstone mini sport crag), SLC stuff 3hrs, Vegas stuff 2.5 hrs, Josh 5hrs?. Ellensburg is up there too with 11worth, Index, N Cascades, Vantage and all the alpine goodness within easy striking distance. Others to consider: Univ Tenn Chattanooga (you wouldn't believe how good the climbing is around there if I told you) Northern Arizona Univ - Flagstaff, AZ Ft. Lewis College - Durango, CO Appalachian State - Boone, NC Utah State - Logan, UT Univ Utah or Westminster College - Salt Lake City, UT Cal State San Diego Cal State Stanislaus SUNY New Paltz

Sounds like a bunch of to me. 18? No shit? Jon, you should get tweaked on some meth and about sixteen shots of espresso and go on a banning/post chopping rage spree for a day or two. After that the other mods will seem tame by comparison and people will stop by Sam's Club after work and pick up a case of STFU....for cheap. Hey somebody pick me up a case too, I could use it! c'mon guys more
