If you expect to have a job right after college in the area you studied, you need a BS in CS, a hard science, and a few other disciplines, or you need to be a go-getter that learns a skill/trade on your own or on the side. Another option is to take your undergrad education and get a higher degree - ph.D to move into research or academia, law degree, MD, dentistry, etc. I think you'll find that most business degree grads have very little trouble finding jobs right out of school.

The kid could have attended a state university for about 1/6th the price tag (tuition). His choice. Of course that would have meant the truck drivers and janitors of his home state - who may never have had a shot at college themselves - being compelled to pay for this punk's degree via forced taxation. The students that each discipline produces compliment each other and are a big part of what makes a society great. The little brat's History Degree isn't necessarily a cop-out at all. If he has a passion for what he learned he can apply it as a teacher. If not, just having a completed degree opens a hell of a lot of doors. And the knowledge itself has value too! But I agree, there is absolutely NO reason this little shithead can't work and initiate a payment plan to resolve his debts.

This isn't news to anyone on this forum. As for our thoughts on FDR...how, exactly, can you be so sure of them? You seems to point out 'our' thoughts, as if 'we' all think the same thing, a fair amount, without ever actually asking what they are. About 90% of your posts consist of such assumptions. It's tiresome. It's easy, Trash. I never asked anyone for their thoughts on FDR, I simply made a statement of fact. When you and others carry on endlessly, and through your narrow little window about how Bush is "the worst American president ever, blah, blah, blah" it then becomes easy to make the assumption that you see every past American president as superior. I'm not sure why that's a difficult concept for you to grasp.

I think there was a study that came out in the popular media a few months back basically showing that given a choice between a buff guy in a pickup truck or a scrawny guy in a Volvo Wagon, the average young female is more likely to sexually desire the former either consciously or subconsciously - especially if she is ovulating - and regardless of her intellect. I am very happy that Tvashtarketena can profess his wife as sexually satisfied despite his obvious personality disorder and ongoing weight issues.

I think you'll find that the politics of the current environmental movement are in direct conflict with the stated interests of WCC.
