I have not had success in getting my pack repaired either. Luckily I never got as far as sending it in since I also had gotten no response from him. So I'll do it myself.

My personal experience with grivel (taakoon) is they are horribly sticky. Even tuned. Maybe the picks are redesigned or I just suck. Either way I switched to the new vipers. These are quite nice on steep ice.

Yup, they never delivered, and it took several calls-emails to get my card refunded. As an aside, I've been 100% on internet transactions until this year. I've had 4 go south since Jan.
