Well I have been to several nations in Africa and I saw the anger towards the US. In reality it mostly seemed that ideas and thoughts were funneled through these minds with the negativity to the US. If they want to fight then bring em on and "let's start a war" as quoted by The Exploited. S Africa has some the most powerfull and destructibe tanks on that continent. Posssibly advanced enough to rival the M1. But the numbers dont match.

We didn't know a map was availible from Valhalla, so we thrashed up from the base of the Shariffs Badge and towards the South Gully...bad idea. With some luck we found the start of the route, a lot closer to the gully then the badge. We hop on the climb and had an easy day of climbing in a beautiful setting. This area is brand new in terms of climbing route development. Shouldn't have given that away... :-) Access: Approach to the route is on the map; it's pretty simple. My advice- Wait for what you believe is a positive weather window and climb it in a day. Drive in there real early because last time I was there the road was pretty holed up and 4WD could be useful, and the damn drive was longer than the climb from North Bend anyways.

the only problem and some might welcome it instead of call it a problem is that often when large concerts happen out there the camping is overcrowded and people are up all night partyin. It dont bother me though. Bouldering- There is lots of bouldering out there.
