It didnt sound like they were claiming to be the first humans on that summit. At least to me. Dru it sounds like you are more jealous than anything Admit it the rock looks good and so does the peak. Now shut up -
Mine was Dennis Harmon. Got Fred and Matt's tent stolen because he was too lazy to put in the car like I asked. Never offered any gas money on a 2 week trip. Took pocket change from center console of my car to buy smokes and booze without asking. Not interested in leading anything. Even if it was easy it seemed. Only interested in routes that are on pointed or well defined summits. (weird) I offered to buy him breakfast in Golden and he declined. But asked for booze and cigarrette money. Seemed unable to climb a mountain without stopping me for a smoke break every other pitch. Downright non social. Ok Ok some of you dont want to hear this but I dont care. Anyone else got some stories?

Crazy. Say is this almost 5000?

Scott you are right and I have seen anchors on some of them rocks. They look good. Maybe the aliens are putting routes in there and not telling anyone Nice photo.

You guys are all wankers! I am going to send the Fisher Chimneys with roller skates on then descend via the North Face in one day. I am going in this good weather window we have, tomorrow morning for any takers interested. As long as I got my horsecock I can bivy if necessary. I'll be the one in speedos on the summit

I lead my first 5.10 gear climb. It was at Squampton so it is really 5.8 Index Back to fall climbing in WA. Maybe I will break that barrier some day but I aint holding my breath.

After you pass below Squire Creek Wall (all Granite without any glacier at all), there are some short walls along the crest near Salish Peak, but the only big mountain wall is the East Face of Three Fingers. The granite of the lower portion of the face is not really shown in the photograph above. You are probably right. My brother's grandmother's siter's cousin said there was a 5.8 there.

I am not sure if that is what I saw. I hikeed up the old SCP trail and it might be it but not sure. I remember the pocket glaciers being bigger and the slabs larger as well. I think I was looking at something else? Maybe to the left? or something else completely. [ 09-16-2002, 03:57 PM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]

Where is a good view of the EF? I think I have seen it before from the right drainage across a valley.

Beth is not hot in my eyes. The rope go there because some guy rapped from the top and bolted his way down. Said- The dumbass not smart enough to realize some bolt climbs are place by hand on lead.

After meeting this dude I thought Kurt was a pretty cool guy. His slide show could use a bit of improvement but I aint gonna give him any tips because that's his business. I wont be going to any more of his shows if that is the real question. -

Sport climbers mostly dont eat horsecock but more like power bars and the like. Alpine climbing is where the real beauty is. To sport climb is only a means to get ready to pull on gear on the alpine walls. -
