  10. LAUER: Don't get me wrong, I think you're probably telling the truth, but there might be a lot of people at home wondering how that might be possible with the conditions you're facing and with the insurgent attacks you're facing... What would you say to people who doubt that morale could be that high? ... CAPTAIN SHERMAN POWELL: Well sir, I'd tell you, if I got my news from the newspapers I'd be pretty depressed as well. Touche!
  11. OK I deleted the last few posts. This thead is pretty much crap in my opinion wandering way too much into spray. Please keep future posts at least somewhat related to the topic. Other replies are of course welcome in the spray version of this thread.
  12. ROCK!

  14. I am sorry my "conservative critic" did not meet with your approval. Rereading my post it does seem a bit as thought the criticism could (should?) have been improved as it seems pretty nonexistent.
  15. LOL forwaker you're a gem!
  16. ..and soon to a city near YOU! Oh what will the civil libertarians say? The most private of piercings public?
  17. Rereading his post you may be right about the location, however, for me at least, the pro is goofier a bit higher. You get a good piece right just above the slot and then move up and right engaging the roof. Right there if you fell you could swing back left a bit and slam into the v-slot. The piece needs a long sling to be stable. The moves are also a bit committing. At least that's my memory of it. This section is where I was assuming he was wishing for a bolt.
  18. Alberta - The 51st state! Hell Yea!
  19. For what it's worth I am pretty sure that he was thinking of above the Vslot. The route climbs through the roofs.
  20. I posted a link to the entire story. Not sure what your point is relative to Drudge. Your link by the way is not the same as mine. Truth again?
  21. Oh yea link.
  22. THE REPORTER of Vacaville, CA published an account of Cindy Sheehan's visit with the president at Fort Lewis near Seattle on June 24, 2004: "'I now know he's sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis,' Cindy said after their meeting. 'I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith.' "The meeting didn't last long, but in their time with Bush, Cindy spoke about Casey and asked the president to make her son's sacrifice count for something. They also spoke of their faith. "The trip had one benefit that none of the Sheehans expected. "For a moment, life returned to the way it was before Casey died. They laughed, joked and bickered playfully as they briefly toured Seattle. For the first time in 11 weeks, they felt whole again. "'That was the gift the president gave us, the gift of happiness, of being together,' Cindy said." Dig the website's name Dave linked to!

Some missing context: The Tokyo fire raid on the night of March 9/10, five months earlier, was far worse, incinerating somewhere around 150,000 civilians, and burning out over 15 acres of the downtown. Indeed, “Little Boy,” the initial nuclear device that was dropped 60 years ago, was understood as the continuance of that policy of unrestricted bombing — its morality already decided by the ongoing attacks on the German and Japanese cities begun at least three years earlier.
  24. I always thought otherwise but 12 sounds good to me.
  25. That was started a few years ago but ran out of steam...Ill bug some of the guys workign on it to get going again. I think it was about 80% complete
