  3. Egads you guys as usual miss the point so I will clarify. Imperial ambition is not defined by success but rather a state of mind. Historically those with imperial ambitions have not succeeded. (also please see this related post) Short-term concessions do not necessarily indicate a change in strategic design As far as Uzbek I would only note that two other Stans are on board and that the US has been critical of the Uzbek government as noted in the W P article. I never argued for the "US as Imperialist" viewpoint but the quote shown above is supporting evidence for my assertion that the foreign policy put forth by Bush & Co represents a distinct change from the past.
  4. Darrington is so yesterday. I am going to the new Darrington.

    Game Over!

From the AP: Wilson acknowledged his wife was no longer in an undercover job at the time Novak's column first identified her. "My wife was not a clandestine officer the day that Bob Novak blew her identity," he said.
  22. Bullshit. They are only indistinguishable for morons in management and accounting (not to mention libertarian wonks) who assume all goods are fungible - a fallacy bred of ignorance. You seem so bitter cj. Also you are missing the difference between "being" and "becoming".
  23. That's what they work for, well slightly more. Their cost structure is substantially less than a US based developer, but they provide much better value than most other offshore houses. I do get the point. What value do you provide to the global economy PP? Getting closer..they are becoming indistinguishable from local labor.
  24. absolutley..I posted an article a few months ago showing how some Indian hospitals were attracting US pts due to low costs.
